Decided to sand & oil the original unfinished stock on my Remington 541x military trainer. Man.. I was shocked at the grain pattern underneath! I'm happy with it

Something I'm currently working on Refinished mosin 91/30 action Boyd's Sporter walnut stock, slightly modified w/ side fillets and bipod attachment ATI scope mount & bolt handle conversion 3x9 glass Cheap shooter that (I think) is going to look fantastic when finished.

Ok, so I had my dad run over to my favorite local gunshop (and no... I won't say who just incase others are in the area ) to get a copy of his FFL. He called and let me know that he has a few .223 saigas for 229$ + tax, which from what I remember... is a pretty good deal. 1 in 16", one 20" version. I am soooooo tempted to go pick that up. I've still got a a camo'd PSL stock that I could slap on there once I pick up another G2 trigger (make a paratrooper style)... so very tempting.,.. .223 for 229$, good price?

For those who have a polish tantal, does a normal stock fit in place of the folding piece? Or more importantly... would an ACE folding stock drop in? Thanks!

FS: DPMS 20" A2 heavy barrel upper in really good condition. It's got maybe 500 rounds maximum through the pipe, probably much lower than that. Has some minor wear but still looks fantastic overall. 325$ obo? AK-related trades welcome:)

Holy crap! What happened .308 prices!??!! 400$ for 1K of **WOLF**!? Man, I've got like 6 boxes of wolf still sitting on the shelf w/ the 3.99$ stickers still on them (retail no less). Insanity. That 200$ for 1200 count of 54r is looking a whole lot sweeter all of a sudden LOL.

Been out of the AK world for a while, but want to get back in. I admit... I hung out w/ the AR boys for a while, but man... if you aren't decked out in tactical this, precision that, you're looked down upon.
