It's not an FA Glock, although I'm not sure he has any other videos showing how to do it. You basically do what the guy is doing in the freeze-frame shot of the video Syndicate posted, only with a normal grip. Turn your support-hand index finger into a rigid stop, and push the pistol into that finger with your strong hand, letting the pistol recoil and "bump-fire" off of it. As GunFun said, it's harder than it looks. Probably takes some practice to get good at it.

I think those SR1911's are dead sexay. I hope they expand their line-up in the future, to include different kinds of 1911's. A commander size SR1911 would be titties!

The only advantage .40 holds over 9mm with modern SD ammo, is that supposedly bonded .40 ammo deflects less than 9mm of the same, when shooting through glass. That's what I read, anyway. I think the unsupported chamber thing was an issue with older Glocks, and is not an issue anymore. At least with the .45 Glocks. I recently saw pics posted of an older G21 barrel and a new one. Exactly. Read up on the statistics of Police shootings and how many rounds fired vs how many hits. Hit up a course that includes stressed fire and you'll be surprised what a shitty shot you are under stress regardless how great you are from a static range position. Adrenaline affects you immensely. Go run around the block then immediately draw and try to place hits on a target while it is pumping through your veins. You'll see what I'm talking about. I bought the Wilson Combat spring kit for my spurless DAO SP101. Never got to install them before I left SC, though. Did you have any issues with light strikes or anything after the spring swap?

I don't prep for long term, but I also don't knock people who do (not saying that you are, OP). To each their own. There's lots of things I don't do, but can understand why someone else would, and vice versa. Since my last post in this thread, I've watched "Chernobyl Diaries" and "Evidence". I actually liked both of them.........right up until their endings. But with how easily and cheaply you can view movies in this day and age, I would say their worth a watch.

Cool video. How positive is the reset with the Apex mod, as in how much you can feel it in your trigger finger? I think I spoiled myself with all of my Glocks, because I love the reset on them and am not sure I could deal with anything less pronounced. EDIT:...........and welcome back!

In my short 2 years living in SC, I quickly realized how big of a deal college football is. Went to a bar to get some wings one night, and it was a madhouse because USC and Clemson were playing. It got pretty rowdy. We just sat off to the side, eating wings and bullshitting, and people-watching. Good times!

I saw it. I won't say don't watch it. But I will say don't get your hopes up. I was really wanting to see it when I saw the previews. But ended up disappointed after actually watching it. I really like the "idea" of the movie, though. I just think it was poorly executed and it felt really "cheesy".

It would be cool to have a MOLOT AR, no doubt. But I'm guessing when they add in the necessary fees due to it being imported, the price would outrun those of domestic-made AR's, with no tangible benefit, other than the cool-factor.

Would I buy one from there? Probably not. But that's only because anything they have, you can get for cheaper elsewhere. The bigger picture here is that these "evil, baby killing assault rifles of death" are being sold at a place where you can buy groceries and diapers. .................and that is a great thing, IMO. The more mainstream, the better. (As for supporting your local brick-n-mortar shops; it seems many of them want to put themselves out of business. With the combination of shitty attitudes and ridiculous pricing, it's no wonder why people go online for their goods.

+1 ....and OP, pick up some 33rd G18 mags! Side note: There are no 9mm Glocks that are ambi-capable, aside from the Gen 4's. Some people report having problems with ejection, when going 9mm in their .40's, since that's the only difference between the 9mm and .40 frames. But if you're only going to be using it as a 9mm at the range, then I wouldn't worry about it. Also, I might be pointing out the obvious, but make sure you get a 9mm conversion barrel, and not just a 9mm barrel. There's a difference. It's uncommon, but it has been done by gunsmiths. Are you dead-set on a quad rail? Or could you use a tube handguard, that you can attach rails to? Because you can pick up a Troy Alpha 7.2" tube from Primary Arms (they have great pricing on Troy stuff. I picked up my 13" Troy from them for about $30 cheaper than anyone else) for $129. It uses the standard barrel nut, so that's a plus.
