12 ga. 00 buckshot. There's way too much possibility for over penetration with an AK...even with SP or HP, I'd still be worried about taking out a neighbor along with the perp.

Trying to get out of .40, basically. The minimal difference in performance is overpowered by the fact that I shoot my G19 much better and mag commonality between the two. The two reasons you mentioned are just icing on the cake!

......and my CWP should be here by next month or so. Planning on using the 26 as a carry piece with a G19 or 17 mag as a spare.

I like almonds, too. Only slivered and roasted almonds, though. When I was a cook, we used them for certain dishes, and I'd always grab a bowl-full of freshly roasted slivered almonds to munch on. Good stuff.

I got to fire a Chinese SKS once. Very good rifles. I've often thought about getting one for myself but I have two AKs already and want a third one.

I have two, and a third (model M that accepts AK mags) on the way. I have yet to own anything but Chinese and Yugoslavian SKS rifles. The Chinese guns always seem to function flawlessly - I've yet to have a failure in either of mine, using a lot of different types of ammo.

All the sentences I personally entered into the computer were for violent crimes.

Lets just say that some smaller states that don't have many prisons like to mix level 4's with the level 2 DWI people...

There's a handful of prisons upstate that allow proper classification of sentenced inmates. At the jail I work at though, most people are "pre-trial". You can be in there for DUI, and be bunking with someone charged with murder, all depending on your classification. Kinda crazy, but that's the way it goes.
