  1. Be vigilant that neither of the top two Republicans who are anti's progress and we get antigunner who speaks good about the second amendment against antigunner who speaks good about the second amendment. "I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons..." -Donald Trump
  2. Fuel for MSNBC commentators. "Second Amendment? This is about intimidation. Look at that ugly Tapco shit!"
  3. The block goes in well behind the old fcg holes. Unless there is a rivet in the very rear hole where the bottom tang was mounted there shouldn't be a problem. I am very impressed with the value of this folder. The recoil pad is the same one that came with my ACE folder.
  4. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Expendables%2C_The Wow. They included Eric Roberts as an "action icon" "of the past 20 years". He WAS one of the best of best.
  5. MASSIMO "These things are hard to get...fuckin' ATF study"
  6. Sounds a little pricey but looks very nice. See lots of folks using the Larue http://www.laruetactical.com/pics/HandStopandIndexClipCombo/HandPosition.jpg ,Gear sector, and knights handstops and even modified rail covers like this. My $25 magpul RSA mounted on the top rail of my AR works well as a thumbshelf w/ my daniels defense rail's offset rails and vfg.
  7. Got it with a little work. Screw snugged it up the rest of the way. Very nice stock.
  8. I admit I own the VFG without the shield thing. If I would have read up on the douchey behavior I probably wouldn't. Even giving them the benefit of the doubt from some quirks of these forums compared to other gunboards, these guys seem laughably bad. It does look very different and kinda cool but the grip is just weird. Ergonomic grooved look (that actually makes it uglier) with zero actual ergonomics. The only comfortable grip I get on the thing is thumb over bore, handstop-- and that works for me but it's not what most want in a foregrip.
  9. Anyone using one? So I cut the tang and dremeled it flush. I'm still having problems fitting it inside the receiver. Need about half an inch up top. Screw will go in at an angle and thread down but it's not secure. Are there certain areas of material that need to be removed like the ACE block?
  10. Personal pet peeve is the liberal use of "assault rifle". Show is fun though and is pissing off the antis.
  11. Wondering: Could some rail system shooting function failures be from not blocking the left side gas block hole as well as the factory guard?
  12. Problem with Keltec is if you are an early adopter you are a beta tester. Seems that there are always issues with everyone of their guns. I bought an early PF9 and it became laughable. Every time I went on the KTOG.org forums there was a new company fix for something. It's good that they deal with problems though and they have very interesting guns. I own and love a pf9, a sub2k and a plr16. Keltec KSG issue?
  13. Sen. Dianne Feinstein's Letter to Obama http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Federal/Read.aspx?id=6207 NRA response to ATF "Study" http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Federal/Read.aspx?id=6172
  14. Not sure about 25 rounders but a single 20 round Surefire 308 mag fits each pouch in my double ak mag pouch vests. If going with individual molle pouches I'd try a brand out first as the 20 rounders shape and size isn't good for my 308 AR open top pouches.
  15. Magpul's Travis Haley did ambi-charging handles awesomely right on an AK as opposed to creating more problems than you solve... http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2008/12...agpul-ak-build/ Really all someone would have to do is make a solid Tromix-style bolt on the charging handle charging handle that is just a maybe a slightly bigger vertical Galil handle and Ambidextrous problem=solved+$$$, it would be a quick weak hand charging AK.
