Has anyone volunteered a ProMag for X-raying?

I'm local to Ajax - they just got their shipment of ProMags in today and they had 300 when I called. I went over and picked up a couple for evaluation. I may go back and get more later. They seem sturdy enough, but the two I got need fitting around the mag catch tab - I will have to remove material from the sides of the tab to get it to slot in properly. My S12 is a 2001-stamped EAA/Cocoa FL gun without BHO or muzzle threading, if anyone is collecting datapoints.

Buy the Federal Value Pack for $1 more. The Winchester Universal pack is known to cause problems in many Saigas.

Never see a metal mag break out of a gun? Not very experienced with an AR-15, are we? Already tried the drop test with an AGP mag. Nothing happens, you just pick up the gun and start using it again. Also, if you think metal mags are superior, you need to see this:

Stupid question, but wouldn't this be a US-made handguard at this point, which means it could count towards 922r??
