  1. I bought a new Browning Pro-40 pistol and the hammer link pin after three shots. The gun was sent to the Browning repair center in Arnold, Missouri and it was a customer service nightmare. They had the gun for weeks, and would tell me that it just shipped whenever I called for a status. They are literally the most aloof, uncaring people and probably forever lost me as a repeat customer. I wrote a complaint to Browning and never even got a reply back, it's just incredible that a company with such an illustrious name and history would be so insensitive to their customers.   3. I have had my 308 for less than a day and am caught up in possibilities. My rifle came with a nice wood stock, but where can I get a composite stock kit that includes the fore end grip? I see the new skeletized rear stock but haven't been able to find a forened that matches. I would love to get something with the classic finger grip notches. My skills are limited to basic tools and I can't make major modifications. Any recommendations? Bob
  4. I just acquired my first Saiga 308-1 and love it. I could only find the 21-inch barrel model with wood stocks, and while I love its appearance, I may have to swap the wood furniture out for something a little lighter. Some of the stocks combinations with bipods look interesting though it would probably eliminate only a few ounces. My question is...the service manual is generally adequate, but not too descriptive about the disassembly for inspection and cleaning. Other than routine cleaning of the barrel after shooting, and obvious lubrication, is there a need for more complete breakdo
