No. If the mag is not right, we will not sell it. The first run of mags are going to be demo units for the store. We will not sell seconds.

When do you expect to ship them? How do we find out if we are on the pre-order list still?

But what about the 8rd mags? If say someone were to get line drawings for those from the Russians and put them into a cad drawing to make here in the US, would anyone have a hissy fit about those? They would not be exactly the same, they would have a different set of ribs running down the side, not unlike the 20rd 308 mags..... Anyway, does anyone see a problem there? Does anyone see a market for them in the $50 price range? Dont waste your time and ours with an "I'll take XX number!" post, just a simple comment on the market will do.

In SF there is a saying about family and family problems. "If you ignore them, they will go away!" The same applies in retail. The plastic squirter is opening up the inside of the mag 5 thousandths on each side to accomodate the follower better. We knew they were tight prior to shipping them and did not get a chance to notify the testers before hand. We wanted to see if it would actually be a problem in the mag. The next run of mags should go out to them the end of the week.

What did you expect? We may have run into some delays and snags, it has been a learning experiance but we are not Robinson or Ares guys!

We are going to produce these on an ongoing basis. Probably a batch every few months depending on the demand. This was not a one time thing.

These are to the beta testers. The other mags will be done when we know these are good to go, which should not take long.

If you hit a metal AK mag as hard as I hit the plastic one there is a fair chance that you would tweek it as well. I really wacked the shit out of it. While the metal would not break, it may damage the front catch. But either way, we are really, really happy with how strong they are.

The capitol was one thing, the biggest reason we did it this way was to make sure the market was there so that we did not loose our shirts on the deal at the very least. People are always very excited and ready to SAY they will but the product, but when it comes time to pony up 1 in 20 actually does. We felt very confident that this product would have a higher than usual success rate, but we wanted to make sure people were serious. Please forgive my response, I have been flooded with negative comments for the (so far) 15 day or so delay in the mags. But I guess if it were easy to do everyone would be doing it and it would not be so expensive to do. And while you did not blame me for your boredom, I am fusterated by the delays as much as everyone else and I feel badly that it has been delayed. So I guess I took it that way. Dude, I will refund your money if you want me to. I am sorry you are bored, but making a new product from scratch takes time. Often more time than we thought. All you have to do is say the word and I can end your boredom.

The "vaporware" comes home today. Correia is bringing home the final versions today so we can test them and send out the test units to those that have agreed to do an impartial test for us (dont ask, those people already know who they are and we are not sending any more). From there we are just waiting on the base plates and followers to get here.

As soon as they deliver the first batch of bodies, we will send the orders for bodies out. We are going to get the initial mags next week for testing, and will be sending bodies out to these we have made arraingements with so they can do independent testing to make sure they are perfect. Then we squirt the batch and they will be ready in a week, maybe a bit less. We have increased the number we are running first because of the demand. It also looks like there will be several places stocking them. Atlantic, Krebs, RSR and of course us.

Yeah, he is a very angry and pathetic little man. Now that he is on his way out of office his true colors are coming out and half of SLC is asking "Where the fuck did this freak come from?". Just an update, since nobody came up with the $60,000+ required to stop this little adventure, we are getting parts in now and should have the mag bodies from the first run done in about a week or so (they have to dry or some shit). Things are moving along nicely guys. We will be a few days latter than we thought it appears, but they are coming along.

We are STILL waiting on them from RAAC. We have a bunch of guns that have been on order for some time. We were hoping to get them last week, hopefully they will get here this week. I dont recall asking for people not to email me about export questions. We have email there for just that reason. So shoot me an email with what you want, where it is going and we will help sort it out and make it happen if we can.

I dont know if they will be ready by then. We never made any promises on exact dates, we are doing the best we can. But keep in mind a few things. 1- This is a new product and we are developing it from some drawings. Now that should make it simple enough, and it looks like it has been on that side. We have tested a proto type and it worked perfectly. 2- We are not making the parts in house. We are gun store and training company. We have sub'd this work out to manufactures who have the tools to do the job. Sometimes you run into delays on the parts or molds and thats just teh way it is

No, nobody has them in hand yet. We are still waiting for pieces to come in so we can assemble them. This whole thing has been more difficult than we thought, but if it was easy everyone would be doing it and they would have done it a long time ago.
