  1. Got the guide in and it feeds without issue, but I haven't fired it yet. I modified the saiga 10-round mag to fit and it works well too. Just got to get out to the range and shoot it.
  2. I got bored and decided to make my own bullet guide for my new saiga. Made with a piece of flat steel, grinder, file and dremel cutoff wheel: It works well just sitting in there cycling rounds, but I don't want to drill and tap the trunion yet. I think I may epoxy it in and take it to the range before I make it permanent. We'll see how it holds up to live fire with epoxy, but hopefully it will make it through a mag. I'll let you know how it turns out.
  3. No sweat, thanks for the picks I appreciate that. I am thinking it might be easier to pick one up from Dinzag in this case.
  4. Howdy Cobra, was wondering if you built a bullet guide for that puppy. I am finishing mine and would like to make one for myself but need some dimensions. Looking at pictures Dinzags it is flat on the front and pretty thick. Was wondering if you had dimensions for the flat base type. Thanks PS here is mine so far:
  5. Here is my first attempt. Still needs a blast and park but I think she looks pretty good.
  6. That wood looks really nice. Is it Russian or repro. I would be interested getting some. Thanks
  7. Wow! An antelope with a face only a mother could love.......kinda like the rifle before conversion. Looking at getting a parts kit, selling off what I don't need and then getting the 5.45 for conversion. Saiga Ya, who said anything about guns. Were talken Antelope.
