  1. How have y'all gone about removing the barrel from the front trunnion in order to chuck it up in a lathe? I assume you just knock the retaining pin out and then press the barrel out like a normal AK? Has anyone built a jig or two to hold everything while pressing apart and together? I am deffinately interested in threading for rem-chokes but am concerned about FUBARing something while pressing apart.

I was initially skeptical about hacking away at the mag area and and mags before actually installing mine as well but I got it put on on friday night and have to say I am 100% impressed and satisfied. Fit and finish was perfect and if I hadnt had to take off my trigger guard and mod it a little bit the instalation would have taken 30 minutes. Anyone know where I can get a mag release extension? I want the type that you can hit with your trigger finger with your hand still on the grip. I would prefer to get a polychoke at the same time to save on shipping but it wouldnt be a dealbreaker. I

  7. I just converted my S12 to a folding ACE Skeleton stock and pistol grip yesterday and used a Tapco G3 FCG. I am wanting to retain the BHO feature as I think its neat and functional, but I am having problems. When I took the original FCG out, a spring fell out from somewhere near the BHO but I did not notice where it goes. I read Cobra's writeup on the conversion and did the neccesary grinding on the hammer, even checked with a digital caliper. Everything fits together fine in the gun and the BHO will work but it wont disengage without shaking the hell out of the gun. I am prety certain that li
