  1. If you are referring to his 74 brakes they rock. As far as I know he is the only one who chases the threads to fit the Saiga FSB, otherwise the thread depth is not enough and the end of the brake does not seat against the FSB. BTW dinzag is IMHO one of the best vendor for parts around and his service is exceptional.
  2. Good Luck , you can find them but they are usally much higher in price . I'm sure you will find one, just gotta keep trying. Try gunbroker.com and keep searching here.
  3. I have the same problem on one of my saigas. I love dinzag and think he gives really good service and have used his 74 brakes before with no probs (other than me killing one of his dies -srry D) But I feel like the chasing that he does to the brake was off on this particular order? Is that even possible?. i contacted him and he offered me to send it back for him to review, but being lazy and in Kali i didnt, I just left it off and the rifle shoots fine, with it on though I am down and to the right. Wonder if there is a connection?
  4. Unbelievable! I just bought my last Saiga from CWS out the door for 279 one year ago! I cant beleive they are taking advantage of you/us like that. I am sorry I ever referred them! This is getting ridicluious. RAA Saigas are prefectly leagal in california its the Kalish USAs that are not. I love how these morons interpt the law. They are losing their own potential buisiness. Well crunchy I suggest you try J&J arms or ammo bros they are fair and wont try and ream you also they understand 922r and SB 23. good luck
  5. If your not from Kali please !!! dont spread falseties about our laws. you can have mags with capicities higher than 10 rounds you just have to have the right configuration and have purchased those mags before 2000.
  6. As long as the mag was purchased before the ban you are ok. The followers and floor plates do not count as they do not affect the capacity of the magazine. Maybe one day we will join the rest of the nation [fingers crossed , but not holding breath] and be able to have PGs and HiCaps oh my
  7. detachable magazine means any ammunition feeding device that can be removed readily from the firearm without disassembly of the firearm action or the use of a tool(s).
  8. I have been looking for one forever. Some please help me out Ever since I wrote the thread on dimples and 3rd"y" everyone wants one and i cant seem to get one anywhere.
  9. I about fell out of my chair when i saw this. I want one but in purple and with Barney on it. Evil colors with a slayer logo would be cool though.
  10. Didnt mean to sound like I was ripping you I was just giving suggestions . Also I made a bad assumption that this might be your only home defense gun,and just saw you trying to save money on what IMHO think is a very important part. Good luck with your build its a lotta of fun and very rewarding. Better start saving for your next saiga now I dont think any of us could stop at just one conversion.
  11. If you read the laws, an assault weapon is only defined as a weapon with a detachable magazine and an evil feature. Thus, if you have a fixed magazine, you're allowed any number of any feature in the list. You can have a folding stock, pistol grip, forward pistol grip, and a flash hider for all anyone cares, provided your magazine is fixed. Thats why I gave him that link PPL if your from Kalifornia READ THIS FIRST
  12. Double hook has a more even pull to it. I have both and prefer the double. other than that no distinct advantages
  13. Here is everything you need to know. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=23060
  14. I think they used a stock photo and not one of the actual gun being sold. Bastards! I had that happen before when I was looking for a dimpled Saiga .223. I made sure to check before I bid, and sure enough, it was a stock photo. The one they were actually selling didn't have the dimples... so beware. I bought the one shown. It has dimples but no Y stamp. Now if I could find both I could quite buying saigas The funny thing is last time I was at the range there was this father and son beside me with a new purchase. I was playing with my yugo underfolder build and notice
