I love to ski & bike. I run as well but that is mostly just for exercise.
  1. I really like red dots. All of the Saiga 12s I had Tony build have a rail rather than the H&K style setup. The low profile red dots are the best and dont seem to have an issue with the shock. I find them very accurate at the range on both my long and short S12's I would feel very comfortable using it for bird hunting on my long guns with an appropriate choke.
  2. I have enjoyed mine quite a bit. They are built extreemly well.
  3. Mine is mostly ok. It is a tiny bit picky on ammo, likes heavy loads. But that could be due to my total lack of fitting the drum (I'm lazy) My Tromix 8inch doesnt have a gas adjustment that I ever noticed.
  4. No, you cant just sell it. Cash and carry. If sold inside Ohio, you must hold onto it until a valid Form 4 is provided to you. If you sell it out of state you will have to involve an Ohio Class 3 dealer, transfer it to them ($200, usually out of your pocket). And the buyer will have to have it transfered to them from thier dealer ($200 out of thier pocket) That is why ads typically say "buyer pays both tax stamps". (if seller doesnt want to pay the first transfer tax) Couple of other things as a reminder.. Since you are doing a form 1, just because it it signed locally, you
  5. Picked up my drums, they are perfect & lock in great. Mike is the man!
  6. +10 for Mike, never a doubt I got the honor of seeing THE pile of drums and drum parts at Mike's tonight. I can tell Mike is going to be really busy putting drums together this weekend. I am really impressed with the construction, rock solid and locked in TIGHT - not a bit of play. Top quality work. I was order # EV-210. My Tromix 8" w/ MD-20 Drum
  7. EV210 here, and Mike just gave me a call that I could come by and pick them up (he lives just down the road from me) .
  8. They had two in stock at Vandalia Tactical for a while from the first run, they have one for rent and it fired nicely. No rise and the recoil had what only could be described as interesting for a 45cal. I liked the feel of the weapon, but just dont care for the look. For function I give it a strong "Aye". You can also order a factory SBR version, accoring to discussions I had with them at the NRA convention, a few months back. I give the looks of the SBR a bit "aye" compaired to the long rifle version.
  9. Hkparts.net here: Adam's HK Website HK40 parts
  10. It is hard to tell by just your order number. For some strange reason my store started the order numbers at EV-198. I used 198 to 200 on test orders, so actual the first customer order is EV-201. When I start shipping I plan to try and post after each day to let every one know what orders went out that day, like 2xx - 3xx shipped. Another thing I don't like about my store is it assigns an order number even if the order is not complete by the customer. If someone puts a drum in their cart it uses up an order number even if the order isn't completed. That is why the newest orders have a n
  11. Well right now they have some problems: HECKLER & KOCH, INC. v. VECTOR ARMS, INC. Plaintiff: HECKLER & KOCH, INC. Defendant: VECTOR ARMS, INC. Case Number: 1:2008cv00389 Filed: March 25, 2008 Court: Indiana Southern District Court Office: Indianapolis Office County: Hamilton Presiding Judge: Judge David Frank Hamilton Referring Judge: Magistrate Judge Tim A. Baker Nature of Suit: Intellectual Property - Trademark Cause: 15:1125 Trademark Infringement (Lanham Act) Jurisdiction: Federal Question Jury Demanded By: Plaintiff
  12. Thanks for the heads up! Picked up two clear and two more black.
  13. I agree with Bvamp, I paid $425 +shipping + dealer fees for mine well over a year ago. If you can find one for $500 now, the price is right (In my opinion). A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. But I still wouldn't pay some of those crazy prices that you see on Gunbroker. Supply may ease in a few months but the truely low prices we once enjoyed are probably gone forever.
