    I say Rewrite the 2nd. The right of a person to own and carry any and all arms that have ever, or will ever be used on a battlefield or their mechanical equivalents, shall never be restricted or regulated, no matter how "Common Sense" the restriction or regulation may seem. Any Legislation brought to a house or senate floor which includes any restriction or regulation of this right shall be an act of treason punishable by immediate death without trial. Such punishment may be enacted by ANY person represented by the person who introduced the legislation to the floor.

    My biggest concern is the gas cutting. 12Ga is Low Pressure at the muzzle compared to Rifle gasses, but you still have a fireball. Pressure+Heat = Trouble for Plastic... even Delrin. (374* Melting Point)

    I'd recommend replacing one of the recoil springs with a lower power version BEFORE modifying any bolts etc. Only because you can easily swap it back if it doesn't help. Also, My 3gun S12 will run value pack bird shot all day long, but I tried using reduced recoil slugs, and they short stroked. Those things are BABY loads. 1 1/8oz, 3dram bird all day or Remington Sluggers 2 3/4. Shy away from the reduced recoil. Also, Shotguns don't have extremely hard primers, so a lower power hammer spring can maintain reliability while reducing the energy needed to cycle the bolt over the ha

    You could always buy a drill bit in the same diameter and cut off the round portion you would normally stick in the chuck. I've used this method for small pins Drill bit steel is usually pretty good.
