  1. For a scout scope option, you can choose one of these: UltiMAK AK-47 Optics Mount SCOUT SCOPE MOUNTS IMO, placing a sight out in the 'scout scope' position makes the AK more front heavy then it already is. As far as handguard replacement goes, if you have enough US made parts on your AK, you can replace the handguard with this: Tri-Rail Lower Handguard for AK47/74 If you need a US handguard to be compliant, try this: AK Galil Style Handguard with Tactical Rails There are also aluminum handguard sets (both free floating and not), but they make the AK a pig to handle and a
  2. Hey if this is Ron I'm sorry my girlfriend and I don't now what a fair price is but i left the gun up there for you and paid you the money i like your work and brought the bullet guide, tri rail, and tomorrow morning you will have the pistol grip, m4 stock an G2 trigger system.. Thanks for doing this for us this was more for my girlfriend and i just wanted to check with her first and she said to pay you the money i tried and failed i would like to see some of the work if you don't mind. Maybe I can learn something so i can do a project like this in the future. I'm sorry for thinking that was t
  3. I'm the type of person who likes to watch the first time and then I know exactly what to do everytime. I'll take your advice and buy the drill im just scared of drilling too far or making a mistake i will regret. The guide looks good but a video would be better I really need to see it in action my rifle is all apart and I really want to put it together.....
  4. A gunsmith told me he would do the whole conversion, G2 trigger system, tri rail lower handguard, pistol grip, m4 stock for ak, and bullet guide for 200 bucks. I frowned since i just got the gun for 200 and paid for all the parts on the net that was almost another 200 bucks. Well the only thing i know i cant do my self cause i don't know jack about drilling is the trigger sysytem moving forward and the bullet guide i can propably do myself and i can put the pistol grip on im sure it's just a screw and the same with the handguard, and butstock. Whats a fair price to put in the G2 trigger and mo
  5. The Saiga receivers are stamped, not milled. The difference in scope mounts is the spacing of the slots, Picatinny being milspec (3.8mm, vs. 5mm for Weaver.) Looks like that T6 stock fits the tang of the AK, but I'd inquire just to be certain. Good luck with your project. Thanks that helped alot but what do you think about the m4 stock for the ak i put as a link it doesn't say stamped or milled?
  6. I dont know which One i need for my saiga conversion. Do i need a stock for milled recievers or stamped recievers? I found a AK T6 Colapsible stock for both milled and stamped $69.99 so since i'm a noob can anyone tell me? I also found a AK side rail mount that features 2 picatinny mounts for $22.97 but the red dot optic i wanted to put on it says it fits standard weaver style mounts, does this mean i can't use it? actually would this work ? us made m4 style stock for ak47

  8. Thanks for all the help and info, I'm converting mine now with the bullet guide, G2 single hook fire control, AK SAW pistol grip if it fits, and i haven't decided which buttstock yet. Then I can use my 35 round galil orlite mags. I really apppreciate you guys giving me a break it was more for knowledge then for harm....
  9. When I get the G2 fire control, do i get the single hook or double hook the factory one in mine is a single hook.
  10. Sorry I didn't know. I was shooting fully automatics that i rented at the range here in Florida , they even said they would sell me one. I don't know all the legal crap, and if it's a fellony than that is what it is. I just wanted to know if it would fit on mine and the answer you guys say is no, that was all i needed thanks. Thanks for your help.
