  1. Nope, same order number I've had all along since very early 2014, February I think. I called them and was told my order number is inclusive for the first allotment of drums they will ship at the end of this week. I originally called just to update my credit card info since mine had been breached. The lady on the line asked if my order number was XXXXXX and I verified it was. She then informed me about the drum status. Still keeping my fingers crossed.
  2. Call and tell them your order number,,,they can tell you if you are.
  3. Was told today that the first batch of drums are being sent out to their distributors. Centerfire told me that mine will ship at the end of this week!
  4. Received word from Centerfire today that they are in...the first batch has been parceled out to multiple distributors and Centerfire will be sending out their allotment of drums by the end of the week...Lucky me-I am included on the first issue, so I figure I should see mine by the following Wednesday. Finally, my baby will be up to its full potential!!!
  5. Got the latest Centerfire catalog today....it's not even listed. Go figure!!!
  6. According to Centerfire Systems, the SGM Vepr 12 drums have been kicked back again with an ETA of late September/early October. There must be some serious issues going on with the R&D. Perhaps SGM should buy the $800 drum and do some reverse engineering like the Chinese do on fighter jets.
  7. A little on the heavy side, but it is solid and if the red dot goes out, I still can use the factory sights as they aren't obstructed by the rail.
  8. I don't know how the foregrip will do until I fire it, but it does feel rather ergonomic when holding on to it.
  9. I'm back from the dead...purchased a basic model Tromix from a buddy and did her up with a 12C configuration including a Russian magwell and Kobra sight.
  10. I left the site over a year ago when I had major financial problems and had to sell my Tromix. But, times have turned around and Daddy's got a new Saiga 12C. I bought someone's basic Tromix model and after much time, I finally received a 12C latch kit, a Kobra sight and a Russian magwell. Then I pimped my gun. Installed the 12C latch, and magwell(what a bitch to do!!!). Then all the bells and whistles. And the best thing about it...she's still a virgin. Plan on firing the first shot this weekend. Anyway, I'm back and glad to return from self exile. So, a big hello to everyone. Art
  11. I'll take #'s ....1010, 4994, and 2059.
  12. 1911....I am not sure whether the Diamond Grade is an XSE series. But the manufacturers # is as follows: Item #: O1070XSEDMG Description: CLT GOVT 45PST SS TALO DIAMOND Manufacturer: Colt Model #: 1911A1 Diamond Grade Talo Limited Edition Type: Semi-Automatic Pistol Finish: Bright Stainless Steel Slide w/24K Gold Scroll Receiver: Stainless Frame Stock: Rosewood, Ornate Sights: Fixed 3 Dot Sights Barrel Length: 5" Overall Length: 8.5" Weight: 38 oz Packaging: Cardboard Box with Cable Lock Additional Features 1: Slot Hammer, Series 80, Aluminum Speed Trigger Additi
  13. Damn it 1911! It is so tempting to fire it, but what about its value decreasing? From what I know of it, it is a tricked out Colt XSE minus the forward serrations on the slide. I bought a Dan Wesson PM7 for a carry weapon and it is awsome just like you say. I know why the DW is your favorite. I figure the DW would be good and keep me from doing the unthinkable with the Diamond Grade. I know...guns are meant to be fired, not lay dormant as paper weights.
  14. I bought it because I wanted a masterpiece 45. Sure I'd like to shoot it, but if I do, it will be the most expensive round I ever shot. I don't have to shoot it as there are other 1911s to shoot with. This is an investment-period! But if SHTF, I wouldn't hesitate to use it. It has all the bells and whistles of an upscale 1911 minus the adjustable sights; however, they are 3 dot. It'll either wind up as an hierloom or a museum piece a century from now. But for now, it is mine all mine to admire. Hell, I might even request to be buried with it.
  15. I spent quite a lot of time looking for a 45 I'd like to have and ended up getting a DW PM7 for a nice carry weapon. I was looking at getting the Taurus PT945 but I never got that warm fuzzy feeling to get it. Finally found a Dan wesson which was used but in great shape. And then it happened - While drooling over countless 1911's on gunbroker, I found the holy grail. But the price kept me from getting it for the next couple of days. The wife urged me to get it as she hated that I lost my Tromix. But I said no, no, no. And then it happened again - On gunbroker, I found "THE" pair of ivo
  16. I'm trying to find a good 45 for carry purposes. Currently, I carry a full size 1911 cocked and locked inside my waistband. My wife doesn't like me doing this as she says she is worried about my Johnson. So, I've been looking for a smaller 45 which I can carry with round in chamber and uncocked, but DA/SA. I don't want to spend any more than $600. As a result, I found the Beretta mini Cougar and the Taurus PT945. The Beretta being hard to find and mags only holding 6 rds; I am looking to get a Taurus PT945. All said, does anyone have any input to whether or not the Taurus is a good, reli
  17. He did say he worked for the FBI, so I imagine he knows the law pretty good. That's alright though. I sold my Tromix for $3000.00 and the drums for $550.00. I made my money back and then some. We will be okay financially. And my kids WILL have a nice Christmas. And that, my friends, is all that I need. I thank you all for your kind remarks-it has cushioned the blow of losing my best friend.
  18. Both drums have been sold...Thanks Devin. I'm out of debt and now this will provide Christmas for my kids.
  19. As some of you know, I was put in a corner financially and as a result I had no choice but to sell my Tromix. The buyer bought my gun and AGP mags, but said he couldn't have the drums due to Virginia state law. Is Virginia that way? I'm out of the hole, but two drums and no Shotty doesn't amount to much. So...I am placing my two MD20 Drums up for sale. One comes with a black and smoke cover; the other has a smoke cover. Asking: $285.00 for drum with smoke/black covers.....$275.00 for drum with smoke cover OR $550.00 for both drums with 2 smoke/1 black cover. Drums pictured with my Depart
  20. Well...I hated to do it, but push came to shove. Thanks to our current economic problems, I'm forced to give up my Tromix. I listed it on Gunbroker, but didn't give the same reason. It's down right embarrassing. Anyway, just wanted to say my goodbyes to you all. I may not have said a whole lot on the forum, but I enjoyed it here on a daily basis. Better than watching t.v.. You guys are a dynamic bunch that I'll miss for sure. You all take care and blast some mags for me.
  21. Ain't nothing TAPCO about it, nothing but the best for my baby!
