  1. just as the title says... are the bullet guides needed in the 7.62 versions? seems to me i see alot of unconverted ones in youtube vids firing with 30 round surplus mags, and they dont seem to have a problem. Im guessing they will probly shoot FMJ's fine without the guide but maybe they hang up on HP...? i
  2. what if a folding stock was in order... and the OAL was less that 26'' when folded, but longer when unfolded?
  3. would a New england single shot 12 gauge be legal if i cut the barrel to 18 1/4 inches, and then cut the stock into a pistol grip, or removed the stock all together? Or would this be illegal because the OAL is less than 26''?
  4. I think you have a flaw in your formula because the S12 comes with 14 restricted parts. The mag only subtracts 3 and when you stray from the "sporting" gun. The statement about factory mags, well one of the statements in 922R is that a capacity greater than 5 is unsporting. Therefore factory configuration with factory 5 rnd mags are legal despite the 14 restricted, imported parts because the shotgun as a whole is a "sporting" gun cannot have more than 10 restricted parts. That's also why the .223 & 7.62s come with 10 round mags instead of 20 or 30. If 922R states that
  5. as long as the mag counts as 3 us made parts it can be used in the saiga 12, adn the agp's count as 3 us made parts.... as far as the whole 5 round mags i have no clue towards, i just assumed that since the gun shipped from the factory with a 5 round mag, that any other factory 5 round mag would be legal as well...
  6. AGP mags count as 3 USA made parts and can legally be used in an unconverted S-12, and i wouldn't think 5 round mags would be illegal because that is what they ship with from the factory
  7. Its a simple question, A friend has a saiga 12 with five 5 round factory mags. Should he buy more mags ie AGP 10 rounders, or should he put the money into a full conversion $200 in mags, or $200 in a conversion?
  8. On the MD site it says it can be stored loaded....
  9. Check out the shotgun that is chosen by the Spetsnaz http://www.spike.com/full-episode/green-beret-vs/32039
  10. so im planning on purchasing a saiga .308 and wanted to know which type to get? If i got a 22' how easy would it be to cut the barrel to 18inches, thread it, and reinstal the FSB? or would it just be easier to get the 16inch version move the FSB back, and thread it? does anyone know who would cut and thread a barrel for me? Thanks in advance
  11. OKay let me say this again, im not bitching about CSS's service i actually really like their service(fast shipping, emails on shipping dates, and overall packaging of the product). in actuality i was just wondering if these mags are so prone in breaking should i bother getting a replacement from surefire or should i just get my money back from CSS and buy a different mag? And vbrtrmn im not a noob or a troll, hell as far as i can tell ive been a member here for 6 more days that you have, just because my post count is lower than yours doesnt mean shit, chill out man
  12. it locked in pretty darn tight, no movement what so ever... i was actually very pleased with the overall fit and finish. When surefire emailed me back they asked how many gas ports i had, and on what gas setting i had it on, do s12's with different specs yield different results with the surefires?
