And the three mag parts count against that ten foreign parts total. I have yet to hear of anyone being found in violation of 922r. has anyome else heard of and action taken because of 922r? That all depends if you are using foreign or USA made mags. USA mags obviously wouldn't count as foreign lol. The point really isn't whether you have heard of anyone being prosecuted. The point is that the law is the law. I know this forum unequivocally abides and recommends abiding by the law.

1. Welcome to the forum. 2. No, you are not correct. The rifle is 14 parts total. Only 10 can be foreign if you want standard AK mags. 3. God invented punctuation for a reason. God must have forgot to give you something if you think the punctuation in the above sentence is correct you want the definition of the word invention? Is it me or did you just try to define punctuation by confusing it with definition? lol too funny. Ok, enough wasted time.

you bet he did. and he gave me a brain to use punctuation

Do the SGL 21'a have the rivet under the trigger?
Digger44 replied to Donkismash's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
mine does not have any such rivet, but it has no trigger slap either. -
Not to hijack this thread, but after reading this I am wondering if the European surplus mags from AIM will work in a SGL21 without modification? Sorry, still a AK and rifles in general newb. This makes no sense. The SGL21 comes with a standard ak mag and feeds flawlessly.

Converting adds how much value?

Talk is cheap. I just don't buy it. Funny how you only had $450 in parts and now its $700. LOL -

$750??? And you didn't take it because??? lol. Good gun shops typically offer about 80% for trades. I am just not buying that your rifle is worth almost $950. Again a brand new Arsenal rifle is cheaper. 1+1 does not equal 3. No self conversion gun in .223 is going for $950 private sale. -

If you tried that with anything other than a Tromix S12 I am afraid you would get laughed out of the store. You can buy a brand new SGL-21 for $705 right now which is expensive. No way someone will give $800 or even $700 on a self-converted Saiga. -
Sounds like a great way to get shot. NY is trying to cut down on anyone carrying a gun.

And you know this how? He has no data listed. Nalioth knows more than yoda do not question him! lol jk Ok but I do have to throw this out there. I just have to point out that you explained 922r wrong. Its confusing enough dont do more dmg. YOu said he needs 10 american made parts. You suggested surefire mags(3) parts + changing out 1 more = 4 not 10 american parts. Wich does not matter anyway because its 10 or less FOREIGN parts. I'm sure you have never done this, but it is called a typo. Thanks for correcting it. I didn't do more damage and it isn't that confusing. I f

And you know this how? He has no data listed. Go ask your local gun dealer to get you a Saiga M3. They're not for sale in the USA. I just assumed that the OP didn't post the correct model, but yes I was aware the M3 is not imported.

Welcome and congrats on the new toy. The majority of Saiga owners here have modified their rifle to accept standard AK mags. All you need to do is install a bullet guide and file the mag catch. If done correctly it function flawlessly. You should be able to find those instructions if you do a search or look around in the forum a bit. Please be aware that if you do this your rifle will not be legal. You will be in violation of the 922r. Your Saiga rifle has 14 Russian parts. To use high caps mags, 4 of these parts must be made in the USA. If you only use USA made mags, such as Tapco (questionab
