  2. nalioth addressed this in post #11, above: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=34686&view=findpost&p=389287 You may only ship rifles and shotguns via USPS.
  3. Looks like Mossberg used to make one between '87 and '90 http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=7810
  4. A topic that comes up here every now and then is spring wear, people generally ask, "If I keep my magazine loaded, will the spring wear out?" The general consensus is no. The other day I was looking at my benchmade auto knife and realized that it is the same theory. When an auto (switchblade) knife is closed, the spring is loaded, you can leave the knife closed for months, the next time you pick it up and hit the button the blade will always pop open, the spring in unloaded. You can close it back up and throw it in a drawer for a year, pick it back up and it will pop open again. The only
  5. I recommend getting a hex receiver, they're getting to be a bit harder to find these days.
  6. I gave you a suggestion, seems like you just want to argue with me, I don't really care about you're drama fest with MT.
  7. Boba, it is called a service, not a product. There are plenty of companies out there which modify or combine other company's products and resell them. The only unfortunate part is since the base of your kit is non-US, it doesn't count toward 922r compliance. If you're interested in making your own kit Shernic Gun Works makes a nice bullpup kit for the SKS, I believe they use MacFam Plastics to do their molding. SGWorks started, I think, 2 years ago taking pre-orders they recently started shipping and videos have started popping up on youtube.
  8. Bought some ammo off of him, super fast shipping, would definitely do business with him again!
  9. Greg @ CSS gets me boxes sometimes the next day, even with standard shipping, I do only live ~500 miles from his shop, but it is nice that you don't need to wait around for a few days while a vendor puts products in a box.
  10. They're not welds, they're rivets. I took a bench grinder and took of the heads of the rivets, then hammered them out with a punch.
  11. It is called an HK G3 cleaning kit, not sure if any of our sponsors sell them, IIRC the no non-sponsor link rule is still in affect.
  12. I flagged your post, not to be mean, but administrators asked users to awhile back. If you haven't read the FS/T rules, here you go... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showannouncement=4&f=42 Put it up on gunbroker, people buy anything off of it.
  13. Have you tried your plug on a S-410 by any chance?
  14. There is a lot of interesting history behind the crusades, which goes into causes behind the Christian invasion. I'm not choosing sides or flaming, just thought you might be interested in reading further on it. If you read my reply ^^ you'll see that I am no fan of extremists on either side
  15. How many Muslims do you actually know? I'm guessing zero. I know several, none of them are extremists. There are plenty of misled (faux) Christians who kill others in the name of God, thinking that they're going to get some grand reward. Extremists feed on stupidity and ignorance, when you make blanket statements like this, you are feeding their fires.
  16. Wow .. I was just thinking the other day, I need a plug which is minutely adjustable. I'm sold!
  17. There are 3 bullpup camps: 1. People who love them, see nearly any post by Bubba Debt. 2. People who hate them, generally for no particular reason or the general (mostly incorrect) thought that the trigger pull is crappy. 3. People who don't really care, me for example. Yup, it is gun, I ordered the Shernic Gun Works SKS kit, we'll see if I move into camp #1.
  18. I screwed up a barrel, once ... just bit the bullet and paid a gun smith to cut and re-crown it. Basic DIY is okay for most jobs, but recrowning a barrel with the proper tools is a must for a rifle which you care about. Here's a video about professional recrowning, if you feel that you can do a good 0-degree, 11-degree, and finish with a 45-degree chamfer cut with a dremmel, go for it... otherwise, pay up I did a a lot of research, before deciding to take mine to the smith. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xpzv1Spsnk&feature=player_embedded
  19. For the RFID paranoid... do you know how to block RFID signal? Wrap it in aluminum, seriously. If you're driving in your car, there is enough interference from the roof of your car to block the signal. The RFID conspiracy has as much credibility as VISA being the Mark of the Beast. When you go on about it, you're basically saying, "Hey I have no idea about technology at all, so I'm scared of it." If the government wanted to track your movements, they'd hire someone to follow you around.
  20. I'd recommend just doing the NFA trust, instead of the C&R. I have a C&R and that's what my plan is.
