  1. Thank god there are still honest business people like you and your partner Bvamp. MadMax--- What sense does it make for a business to try to price gouge. the consumer only has so much money and or patience. how do think these guys are going to feel when in a few months they are going to see prices normalize? I would think they will feel taken advantage of and that the person who hood winked them will never get their business again. What good did it do to get a quick profit then? Look i believe in everyone making a reasonable profit but there is no reason to price gouge. I would
  2. quote] Considering how short in supply they are right now, and the number of people that are waiting and looking, I don't think that 500 is an unreasonable price at all. Now if the market was suddenly flooded with S12's, it would be a different ball game. I can understand the 500.00 price tag but 800.00 to 1200.00 is out of the question for a stock saiga 12. That is pure price gauging.... don't people have a conscious anymore? Shamefull!!!!!
  3. guys i have been away from things for a while WTF? prices for stock 12 around 800.00 I heard there was a back order problem and i believe in making a little profit but man are people smoking crack?
  4. abnak, John762 has a great idea, about searching the posts for a trade or sell it here on the forum. I am sure someone will snap it up. then if you don't get ehat you are looking for in trade you can get the gilberts guns weapon. good luck. I think trying to adapt a nother stock would be a PIA. Paul
  5. Tell us how you really feel. I like it because all the work of converting to pistol style grip was done. I don't mind the angle cut as i am not looking to change a thing. I would suggest to take it back to your dealer and call up centerfire. here is the link and it looks like the rifle you want they are taking back orders. who ever ordered it for you sure didn't do their research. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/index.asp...h=GO&Page=1 gilberts guns has them in stock. 21 inch http://www.gilbertsguns.com/Rifles/Saiga/p...ingtype=details less than 5 minutes lo
  6. i just got to look at mine last night. Maryland and its wokderful gun laws considers this an assault weapon so i had to fill out same paper work as gun and wait the 7 day waiting period. Man i hate this freaking state. Oh well not to worry i am to busy to take it out to range anytime soon. Very sweet though. nice pics.
  7. I can't wait. Mine is coming in sometime next thursday. thank the gun gods for center fire as they had them in stock. I have been reserching the scope question. Man it seems recommendations are all over the board. I really like the idea of having the chevrons for bullet drop. knowing that here in MD i will be lucky to get a range with 200 yards i would still like a scope to be capable out to 600m and still allow me to shoot close and use my irons as a backup. looks like psop or IOR best bang for buck. Psop more affordable. any one have definitive recommendations?
  8. saiganoobie great pics man that is one sweet looking weapon. centerfire has them in stock and ready to ship. the guy said they didn't even know they were getting them other wise they would already be sold center fire Now i have to sell a few guns and accressories to pay for this one but I think it will be worth it.
  9. I think this is hot just the way it is. I have an AMD 65 build with plastic furniture--saiga 20--- saiga .223 and a swedish 1911 mauser that i finished a boyds thumb hole stock. I got to tell you the wood stocks have a very different appeal. A ventilated wood upper would be sweet. I think the only thing to add to it would be a comp from primary wapons systems and mojo sights. The J tac47 comp from primary weapons works likea charm on the AMD65. A little loud but great product. Scope of course. paul
  10. OK guys did a search on accuracy and read posts back to 2005. it seems the 16 inch barrel is just as accurate if not more with the right loads than the 21 inch barrel. I really like this version as it seems most of the work is done. I guess i am just being lazy about a pistol grip conversion on standard 16 inch. wood stock has a nice appeal. i guess my last couple of deciding factors would be regarding any excessive mods if you wanted to put the red star trigger in? hi cap mags? I am not looking for match grade accuracy. but his rifle in a 16 inch barrel looks lik
  11. how did it shoot? My only concern with this stock is how is the comb and LOP (lenght of trigger pull). which barrel length better 16.3 or 21.8? can't you still get out to about 800 meters with 16? gilbert guns has it for 530.00 not bad as it would be this much for conversion parts and time. hmmmmm only 2 ounces heavier thant other plastic stock 308's. Ok lets hear the review the suspence is getting to me thanks in advance.
  12. motoppilot1 i am with you. It took me totally by surprise. excellent job shaneman153a too funny. Good luck drinking beer stay safe. Still laughing i was reading all intent until i came to the last part
  13. hey guys thanks for the info. I really don't want a foldable stock so it looks like the tapco a6 may be the way to go.
  14. any one sell one that doesn't require mod to the back tangs of the saiga? If not any suggestions?
  15. guys, I have an extra g2 trigger that i bought for my son inlaw. He sold his ak-47. Can i use the same trigger in my new saiga .223? if so that would be sweet as that trigger is a POS right now. thanks in advance
  16. Will that stock work without having to grind the tangs of the saiga .223?
