  1. ANYONE out there seeing primers for sale?? I see small amounts of powder at local shops, but none that I typically use. I passed up a couple thousand small rifle magnum primers on powder valley an hour ago. But... The price really didn't thrill me. Bullets aren't too much of a problem sourcing...

What are the rest of you seeing?? Thoughts? Comments??

  2. Not sure what you feel the need to apologize for... I've used BSA optics on my 10/22's for decades... Same scope on each one... 6-24X50, w/adjustable objectives... I've NEVER had any issues with any of them. Im not sure who you're thinking is reading these posts... But i can promise you, most likely NONE of them are thinking night force, or Steiner😅😂😅😂

Maybe if you've gotta shoot 1000 yards, and need repeatability in the adjustments of the optic... Then yes...nightforce is probably a good call... But anything less... You're jerking yourself off to pay for the name.

  3. Highpockets...

Someone spent a bit of money to put it together that way from the original factory configuration. Change anything you don't like, and keep what you do. If it's the way you like it...then you scored a great find!! You didn't have to mess with it to get what you wanted!

It's only more desirable to someone who wants their rifle set up that way. If you're happy with it... It sure beats having to source all the aftermarket parts and do the work yourself... You get the benefit without the hassle!!😁😁😁

  4. There's nothing wrong with a " frankengun"

I'm saying that because it's a hodge podge of all kinds of different parts put together. It's hard to answer the question of "what do I have?" when you have 6 Brands of parts put together. If it does what the OP desires, he's lucky to have scored it already the way he likes it!! Not downing it in any way!!

  5. Gotcha! Thanks. Problem is... I have 3 barrels that are totally complete. Barrel nuts, gas blocks, front sights. And triangular handguard brackets. I know i'd have to take them apart to remove the triangular bracket. Guess while it's apart i'd be swapping out the barrel nut as well... So that makes it easier to understand the mounting, knowing they need their own special barrel nut. Thanks!!!
