Never seen a slant cut salga... Interesting

You can use the wooden 308 furniture on the S20. I had one set up like that...just gotta do a lot of sanding to get it to fit...then drill a hole for the screw...but it WILL WORK. ☺

Can someone explain to me what wet starting a plane is? And how that caused the fire that was supposedly started from a rocket that launched in error from an electrical surge from an F4 on the opposite side of the flight deck striking the plane next to mccains external fuel pod causing it to ignite???

Your best bet to get it to cycle well with cheap rounds, is to shoot the hell out of it. I used my first s20 during a trap league, one summer. By the end of the league, I not only shot my first perfect 25 with it, but it cycled EVERYTHING I could run through it... Mind you...were talking 50 to 100 rounds each outing, plus that much at practices... So a couple hundred rounds a week, for three months... But no work on any parts was needed...just kept it lubed, and relatively clean, and everything works wonders!

Without pics, it's tough to tell. Chances are it's one of the factory thumbholes that hook right up. If it's a converted Rifle...the thumbhole stock could be just about anything... My point is...without pics of the rear of the rifle, dunno what the receiver looks like. Many thumbholes fit a standard receiver, so he can put any ak stock he wants on it... Is his rifle sporting a real slant cut receiver???

I think I'm on the proper level of pain meds. 10 mg oxy every 4 hours seems to work so so... Problem is...if I take 15, it makes my face all itchy and that bugs me worse than my pain... So I take what I can, and do my best. And yes...I'm glad it was reversible. Or at least fixable!! Too many conditions are permanent... -

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes!!! I seem to be doing ok. Almost out of pain meds...gonna ask for more tomorrow...tyre only REAL hurting pain is in the muscles by my knee on the leg I had fixed... The hip itself seems to be doing well so far...knock on wood. -
Indeed so. I'm gonna try and run a few rounds through the chrony later and get some velocities. Hopefully with those, I'll be able to duplicate the load pretty much exact, even if I don't have the original powder. Just one of those things...when you find the load that really shoots well...you wanna keep tabs on it, and make more. And for these to give me a 3/4" group or a little better at 100 yards, with a $300 dollar rifle...even better!!

So just Before I got laid up, I did some shooting with my savage axis rifle... In .223. Got a cute little 4-32 BSA optic on it... Went shooting up a bunch of reloads that I've had sitting around for umpteen years without any load data with them...just to get them gone. I came across about 20 rounds that gave me wonderful 3/4" groups of 5 shots at 100 yards... So I brought 10 home, unfired to try and reverse engineer what I loaded... Turns out they are a 68 grain BTHP W/cannelure. Pushed by 25 grains of a ball powder. Now...this powder is REALLY a ball powder. Not like blc2,cfe223, or w748 that

Just thought I'd share my latest issue with you folks... After to many years of doing things the Easy way and not the right way...I had zero cartilage left in my right hip. Plus bone spurs to add to the fun and thrills of pain. So last month I consulted my physician, was referred to a surgeon, and on June 8th, I had a full right hip replacement. Spent a couple days in the hospital. Came home early Saturday afternoon. Been enjoying the fun of rehab at home getting up and about. Things are going well, I feel good, for the most part. Other than the actual surgical incision/bone work pain I think

Typically I won't leave the house on black Friday... But today...I was up at 4, and in line at the local bass pro about 20 after. Doors opened at 5... I really wanted some of the Federal target 22 ammo, and at 16 bucks a box,i felt the price was not outrageous...so I grabbed a few boxes. I had the GF and my daughter with me as it was a two box limit per person... I was naughty and went back for seconds, though. We were in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes!!!☺ I also needed tumbler media... I just tumbled and sorted over a thousand rounds the last two days... 223,308, 3006, a
