Looking to pick up another one. The usual suspects are out of stock. Any suggestions on where to buy?

I bought a set of the SGM chokes. Modified, Full, and Extra Full. I hope to pattern them this weekend.

This block does have an adjustment built in. Can you point me towards one that does not?

BTT. I cant be the only one with this problem.....unless I am as ugly as people tell me

Nope, just cut off the tang and bolted on the internal block.

Had the chance to spend some more time behind my S12 and I am almost completely satisfied with this project, just have one problem to solve. With the Tromix Stock, Ace Folding Mechanism, and Ace Internal receiver block, I really have to force my face down on the stock to get the sights aligned. I basically just need to raise the line of the sights. After some searching around here I came up with my options. 1. Krebs Combat Sights. Seem easy to install and give some extra height. http://forum.saiga-1...post__p__345670 http://store.carolin...2-Custom/Detail 2. Dinzag

The holes were a little tight on mine. I am pretty sure I ruined some threads on the screws trying to get everything lined up. Do they make these with a few degree downward angle. This is the one I have from CSS http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-372/Saiga-AK47-Internal-Stock/Detail I would really like one without the 3 degree correction.

I just saw a basic DIY job sell for $1300 on a forum...

What size are the ports? What mags and ammo are you using? I stand corrected. It is a three port gun (one is not visible but unobstructed). Surefire mags, pretty much any ammo cycles fine. I get failures to feed with Winchester Universal (soft hulls).

I have a two port 19". Cycles quality low brass fine with factory puc, Pauly's bolt work, and V-Plug wide open.

If you dont want something real nice looking (holes welded, trigger guard welded, back plate welded) you can easily do it yourself. I was like you, only worked on ARs and managed to finish my conversion a month or so ago. CSS has some good videos on how to do it. If you use a standard stock, it is a pretty simple process to add a pistol grip and move the FCG. I used a Tromix DIY Kit. Send your BCG and trigger off to Pauly and get a V-plug. The only cutting of metal required is drilling out two rolled over axis pins and grinding off two rivets. ETA: Mine eats everything exce

Looks good. Which receiver block did you use for the stock?

Great thread and pictures. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

I think he is busy trying to keep up with the influx of work. I recently received my parts back from him. Door to door was ~2.5 months. Longer than quoted but definitely worth the wait. He did answer the phone when I called and is a very nice and informative guy. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/72864-anyone-heard-from-pauly-recently/page__fromsearch__1

How do you test the Autoplug to make sure it is working? I get that you adjust it to cycle low powered stuff but how do you know it is actually relieving excess pressure? Seems to me that if it were to fail, it would fail closed, resulting in more gas, everything cycling, and abusing the rifle... I am NOT talking about the adjustment screw backing out and causing short cycles. I had an Autoplug installed in my gun but pulled it out after realizing I did not know how to verify it was working. I can compress the valve/spring with a punch but I dont know how hard it should be to pu
