  1. So are you putting him on the 8rd mag project or the mini-drum? Just kidding!! Nice looking pup, we're starting the the process of getting use to the idea of adding a pup to the family..
  2. Probably too heavy for any serious social work, but I'd be down for one just to watch jaws drop at 3gun matches.
  3. Bravo, nicely done. You know, I do happen to have a Bridgeport mill in my shop....mmmm
  4. The only problem I have with AR's is the caliber, If you run them wet they are just a tick (OK-2 ticks) behind AK's in reliability IMO. The caliber is anemic and that has been documented over and over. The round is velocity dependent and with today's shorter barrels they don't frag like there supposed too. If you're real close it will zip right through a skinny guy or a arm/leg, If you're far away it won't frag and just makes a .22 hole. It also sucks in penetrating intermediate barriers. HOWEVER, the new 77gr OTM and near solid copper projectiles are are performing very we
  5. Well, I missed the intro price, that will teach me not to pay attention. But I'm down for one, just ordered off your site.
  6. Wishing for a speedy and full recovery!!
  7. Not bad at all. But in the training I have practiced, I knock the empty mag out with the fully charged one and don't lose my sight picture as much. But do what you can do well!
  8. I'm glad I poked my head back in here, actually some valuable content instead of the usual rants about (insert your issue here). This is great news, thanks Tom for putting in the R&D. I call in Monday to get on the list for the parts kit.
  9. As far as inexpensive optics go, I also have a Fast Fire on an S12 that has held up for the last couple of years and I do 3gun competitions.
  10. Great job gettin' the rice out from under those hoods! There's nothing like a V8 for makin' it move out! Nice sleepers! ...just watch that frame twist. Ever see a Chevy smallbock in a 69 beetle? It's a huge job, but, done right, it looks good and SMOKES 911s. Tough to keep the front end on the ground though... Here's a pic of me putting it in, she said it was to too big. But I told her to relax and it would slide right in.
  11. Bob, Your Landcruiser is on my wish list. I think they are seriously cool. I have a buddy with a FJ40 that did the Chevy swap.
  12. I'll play... 1970 240Z completely adjustable coil over suspension, 12.2" vented disc all round with wilwood 4piston calipers, Ford 302 dyno'ed at 393hp and 400ftlbs. Total weight 2467lbs. Do the math.
  13. They do have a metal mesh in them, just no metal reinforced feed lips. Which is the deal killer for many. If they were significantly cheaper it would be one thing, but at the current price point I'll take a Circle 10.
  14. FWIW, my S12 ran flawlessly before I installed Gunfixer's plug. And it still does, but now I can change the setting to slugs with a quick twist. IMO that alone is worth the modest price. A friend was having problems with his S12 cycling, he installed a plug and now his runs just as well. It's a win-win not matter what.
  15. Wow, just saw this. I hope for all the best to your family.
  16. StrikeFire seems to be getting decent reviews. I have never tried one. I had an ATN that went south on me, it works, just lost one of the reticules and the adjustment screws stripped out. I've had good luck with the Burris Fast Fire. Of course, at the end of the day, I have to go with my Aimpoint micro on a Ultimak rail. It is the best setup going right now.
