  1. Check this out SG er's, everyone should have one of these!!
  2. Check this out! This is a FULL AUTO, everyone should have one.
  3. Thanks for your input, I have decided to get a mount from Tony Rumore at Tromix, which mounts in the rear sight dove tail. I have decided get a Doctor Red Dot, I just don't want to add more weight than I have to, that is also why I am not puttin a Weaver rail on as one of the other options.
  4. Just saw this post since I am looking for a way to mount a Doctor Red Dot or Eotech Sight. I have had very poor results with the use of a Russian Kobra 3 sight. The Gun does not cycle with the scope mounted on the receiver. The scope was also mounted to another s-12 with the same results, using light to heavy shot loads and slugs. I have sent this gun out for repair when it did not cycle only to receive it back 2 times with modifications to the bolt and gas systems, while all the while the mounting of the sight on the receiver was the main cause of the problem. I am currently looking f
  5. I was speaking to Kmoore about this and he let me in on the advantages of not shooting yourself empty and it does make sense. I just like having a bunch of goodies and feature that are typical of modern assualt weapons. Kmoore did say that the lrbho and bolt release might make for a good back up plan if you lost count of your rounds and ran it empty though. You would be able to know the weapon was empty by the feel of the bolt locking back rather than hearing the snap of the hammer on a empty chamber. Mike, Thanks for your reply. It does make sense to have a back up, I will just hav

  7. The magwell in the video won't take the drum, but I do have a version that fits sticks and drums both. That way everyone will be able to have one. Hey Mike, the video is great!! I have a question as it relates to the LRBHO use. I shoot USPSA 3 Gun and have been building a Saiga 12 for competition. I acquired several AGP 10 rd. mags and modified the followers so they could be loaded on a closed bolt. With practice, I can reload them effeciently. In competition it would be faster loading on a closed bolt rather than releasing a bolt while in play, same as we do in rifle and handgun. M
  8. I have the older 10rd mags with the longer follower. I didn't modify the follower and they still load like a dream at full capacity with 3inch mags. Mike, That is Awsome!! I'll be taking one with my Drum order if it is ready in time.
  9. Mike, This really looks good, I am reall interested in knowing if the 10 rd. AGP will load in the Magwell on a closed bolt? I have done the mods on my mags (removed 1/4" off of the front of the follower with much success). The Mags load in fairly well with practice. My interest is using the S-12 in USPSA Competition, unfortunately I cannot use the Drum I ordered since we are limited to 10 in the mag and 1 in the Gun.
  10. Nothing on delivery time. All I received from MD was an email indicating that my order was updated to deposit received.

  11. have you heard anything on the twenty round drums?

  12. Looking GOOD!! I wish I could have shot with you. I have not been to Blackwater in years. Ron Reiner runs a great IDPA like match there. I relocated a few years ago fron N.VA to N. GA. Are you loading on a closed bolt with 10 Rd mags??
  13. Ron, I did purchase a Kobra 03 from Tantal for this SG. Given the price and the ease of mounting, I felt it was the best option as you suggested. Ques. Can a Rem Choke or Winchoke be used with a Shark Brake? 3GunRjl, If the Sharkbrake fits over the barrel then it possible to use a Winchoke or Remchoke system as they are internal threaded. Removal and installation of the choke tubes will be a little problematic as you have to avoid the "teeth" of the Sharkbrake while using an extended choke wrench. Oh, and Polychokes can be used with slugs with no ill effect to the slug or choke.

  15. Thank you for all the prompt replys. I am used to using a belt type pouch for the 3 Gun matches I have been shooting and am wanting to stay with one that the 10 Rd. AGP's would work in. Our matches are typically 19 to no more than 25 rds. using both shot and slugs on the same stag. This would make using a polychoke not acceptable unless modified or IC could be used for both the shot and the slugs. I purchased a Shark Brake from Tony and installed it on my 19" Saiga 12. I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience shooting 7 1/2 or 8 shot and Rem Low Recoill slugs out to 35-40 Yds wit
