  1. Thanks guys very helpful.
  2. So there should be a cap on the end were the numbers are??? Mine came just like it is shown in the picture, I think it came with a tool though to spin that thread...
  3. Am I missing something here to adjust the gas setting? I saw something different on someone elses. Am I missing a cap or something? I haven't got to shoot this saiga yet but just want to make sure. Also how does the gas adjustment work. I don't remember reading anything about it in the manual...
  4. I also heard that leaving shotgun shells in any type of mag will damage them to the point that they will jam the shotgun. Is this true? (even with the drum?) What about steel base other then brass? Just want to know since I plan on using mine for home deffense.
  5. So the current drums will work with the 2nd version of the magwells he makes?....
  6. I asked Mike but he seems busy. Is his current 20 round drum going to work with his magwell when it comes out? Will my other mags work with it as well?
  7. Anyone have mounted a laser and or flashlight on their saiga? I would like to see what people out there have and where you guys bought them. Thanks
  8. Nice new video Mike, but how is this stuff going to fit together. Are we going to need a PHD in saiga's like you to put these pieces on?
  9. After looking at the dimensions it looks like i could squeeze in a AR-15 carbine if I make the barrel point opposite of the saiga 12. Thanks for the glue tip I wouldn't have thought of that. The foam they sell looks similar to some I've seen around here that I could get cheaper so I wouldn't have to worry about messing up. I just don't want the inside of the case to look like a 4 year old did it...
  10. Did you have to cut the foam yourself with a razor? Or was it pre-cut? I'm wondering if i could get one alittle larger and fit my AR-15 Carbine in with my saiga 12.
  11. Does anyone have a good gun case they could recommend for a saiga 12? Hard or soft doesn't matter. I just don't want to carry mine around in the cardboard box it came in even though it is stylish. Also anyone have a manual thats better then the one that comes with the gun? The one I have doesn't seem to have that much in it. PDF or whatever would be great.
  12. Hard to see but this is my saiga in my hot tub getting a cleaning. I'll try to get a better picture next time I clean it.
  13. Wali what if I use my hot tub to clean it would that be better?
  14. I guess that counts Mad Max, but I ment anyone currently living here. Or if you know the area that might help too. I was just wondering where someone can go shoot outside legally? Someone told me the mesa out west but then they said if I see police coming to pack up and leave. Which didn't sound very legal to me. I just want to beable to shoot outside at some targets far away from everyone. And if the police do show up I'd welcome them to take a few shots. Any ideas where? I'm in Albuquerque NE.
  15. Thats true cause I am looking at getting an AR-15 and I believe that would be ban too. I don't know why congress thinks banning assault weapons lowers crime cause it doesn't. Criminals either still get the guns they want to use to comit crimes or just use something else. Even in the UK where they hardly have any guns they still have some gun crimes. Either way gun bans are bad but I was just kidding. What they need to ban is alcohol and bring us back to 1920 cause that worked so well....
  16. Especially if they get ban with a new assault weapon bill. Pre-ban ones will be worth more, I heard from someone that Saiga's were mention spesificly on the bill that congress might try to pass. I just wish I knew about them when they were around $270. Now that I have one I kinda hope they do get a ban so I can be like.
  17. I can just throw it in the dishwasher for cleaning right? With those extra drier balls right? The ones that make no marks on the wine glasses.
  18. Some people say they needed to break theirs in before it cycles light birdshot loads good. The best way is to give it hell. Take some high brass out with you when you go. Remember your gas settings and make sure they are correct for your shell type. Most people seem are able to fire all round just as well on the high brass setting once it is broke in. Ok but what is high brass? Just more brass on the base?
  19. Do I need to do a proper "break-in" with a saiga or can I just start shooting and just clean it after?
  20. Won't MGM stuff return a round? I don't know about the physics but even if it falls over I believe it could return a round? (Object in motion tends to stay in motion & an object at rest tends to stay at rest until acted on by another force..) I know the bullet (slug, shot) is the force that will make it move but will it move enough to not direct it back. I mean after seeing that 50 cal hit that plate and knock that guys ear protection off I'm kinda not wanted to shoot at plate...
  21. If you buy the Mike Davidson DVD collector box set you can get pushed to the head of the line. Here is a sneak peak.
