  1. Not nearly the amount that the MSA adapter does, but it does require some fitting.
  2. For sale: 1 RenegadeBuck AR Mag Adapter. Sold Pending Funds Slightly used, as you can tell from the paint. Worked great in my Saiga, but I decided to go with the MSA Mag adapter over this one. $80 dollars shipped priority mail.
  3. I shoot lefty. I happen to be a freak of nature that's right handed but left eye dominant.
  4. Got everything fitted finally. Need to touch up the paint since I was an idiot and didn't mask anything off. Steel mags drop free, Pmags do not drop free yet. Also I find the left side mag release stiff and hard to use.
  5. Haven't had time to work on fitting, but here's a picture of the adapter itself.
  6. What sort of bit did you use? I used the grinding bit for the bulk of the work but I'm finding it's a little too big for the fine touches needed for fitting.
  7. I'm working on installing it right now. I will post a picture once I'm done tonight or tomorrow.
  8. In case anyone is curious, I got my tracking number on Tuesday.
  9. It means a lot that some people still remember what and who I really am.... Time is my issue. I can only do so much in a day and some are lucky enough to catch me online taking a break. So while I'm here I'll give and update. All the rest of the Gen2 Saiga adapters are shipping this week. Gen3 are coming this week as well....To clarify the difference. The Gen3 will be easier to modify to other AK platforms. In effort to speed up production and installation we made some programming changes that doubled as a bonus. And as always... we recommend professional installation. Or at least use
  10. Anyone who is afraid to do business with MSA should go and see the update Nate just put up on the MSA website. I just spoke to him last night and there are some very big changes coming at MSA. He no longer has to outsource all the machine work, and now is doing all the work 'in house', on equipment he owns. The .308 adapters are also ready. All the people still waiting on their back ordered adapters will start seeing tracking numbers and be receiving them starting next week. As soon as he gets caught up with Makc on his vendor dues he will be back here posting himself. For now I am just relayi
  11. What specific tool are you talking about when you say 4" angler and blade? My .223's FSB is crimped on and instead of drilling into the crimps I'd just like to cut it off. I'd use a mill and endmill to do it but I don't have ready access to one.
  12. I went out and bought a large dead blow hammer and gave it my hardest whack, and I couldn't get it to budge. It appears there's a notch on the shroud on the bottom and in front of the FSB. Could the shroud be preventing the FSB from rotating?
  13. I recently finished my conversion, and as I was looking down the sights I noticed that the FSB wasn't aligned correctly. I don't know if it came like that or not, but that is a moot point. I need to rotate the FSB a few millimeters to the right to fix the alignment, and I was wondering how to go about doing that. Can I just take the two pins out and tap it gently till it is aligned properly, or is there more work involved than that? Here's a picture of my converted saiga
