My 16 incher is shooting about 5'' high. Is an extra high post available?

Can these sling loops be removed and can the stud still be used for the detachable type?

I picked up a 20 rounder for $20 at the Crossroads G Show last weekend for my stock Saiga x39. By looking at it when I got home I noticed the front edge where the bullet tip comes out it was 1/8" lower, and when hanging on to the bolt handle and chambering the last round it would jam before chambering. But it works 100% when firing at the range.

Has anybody taken off 1" from the standard black synthetic Saiga stock, and how did it turn out? Thanks.

That's it, I was at the gun shop looking for some ammo noticing bare shelves. The clerk mentioned the FedEx crash that was in the news. Good thing they had some ammo I could use and that I had plenty ready for the range.

Last week a FedEx triple semi carrying ammo crashed and burned near Salt Lake City. Locally there is there some shortage of cartridges?

What happened to Robinsons Veprs ?

My PSL-54c jams bolt over base 20% of the time with the matching serial numbered magazine. The bolt needs to be pulled back just enough and the cartridge will be ready again. The second magazine that did not match the serial number did not even fit. I have a 21" saiga 308 on lay away, I hope things will be better.
