I am in the process of converting a 7.62 x 39 and 308 rifle. The 7.62 is neutered and will be done at my gunny's shop by both of us. The 308 is next. I got the danzig package for backboring the FSB once removed. In looking at it before taking it also the the shop - I see what looks to be a weld on the top. Plus it looks like the barrel is larger behind the FSB so it cannot be backbored to do a flash hider. Anyone else have this same issue? If so - what did you do? Did a search but could not find this specific issue. Thanks
