  1. Thanks for the link! I love when places offer reasonable $5 USPS shipping. I hate all these sites charging $10 to ship a freaking firing pin!
  2. The recoil pad on my ACE stock is about 3/4 of an inch at is largest point. Are there any bigger? If anyone has a link to one I would appreciate it! Thanks for the help guys!
  3. I use a sling from https://www.rockymountaintactical.net/ I use these clips on my rifles and shotguns so I can wear the sling and snap into whatever I want to shoot. You can use it as a single point sling or un-snap it and attach to the front for a double point setup. This page explains how it works https://www.rockymountaintactical.net/?page...17ddc0214c& I highly recommend them! The sling is very strong and comfortable. The owner is also a great guy to deal with.
  4. I am not familiar with ORHTF. What is that? I am -gunut- on glocktalk, ar15.com, handgunforum.net, akforum.net, gunsnet.net, and gunut45 on hkpro.
  5. I still don't have the tools though. I just moved into a new apartment in the city I am not really into the Saigas in 7.62. I have a thing for Chinese AKs
  6. LOOKS REAL NICE-Great price.Have you fired her yet???ENJOY Ken I put about 300 through it in the original form. I will be able to shoot it converted maybe tomorrow or this weekend. I am excited!
  7. I have heard from everyone that he does excellent work at extremely good prices. I really didn't have the cash for a $300 conversion so I am glad I found him. Right now he is very busy with builds. I think he had about 9 or 10 rifles he has to finish. If you supply the parts he will do a built for $200. He has a full time job and just does this one the side. He is definitely worth checking out if you are working on a budget!
  8. Cool thanks! I just took a sharpy to them. They really do not bother me much. I will probably pick up some plugs next time I go out shopping.
  9. Oh, What is the procedure for adding a Galil hand guard? I did a quick search but found nothing. I think I would like to add a black one to mine. Any info is appreciated!
  10. Well here is what she looked like before the conversion I bought the rifle NIB for $380 and put $150 into it for conversion parts. I added -Ace stock and receiver block -SAW style pistol grip -Tapco trigger group Since I don't have the tools or knowledge to do a conversion I contacted Jesse over in Albany, Oregon to do the conversion (web page here http://www.762llc.com/index.htm ). I got quite a few recommendations about his work so I gave him a call. The price of the conversion was $100 and included refinish of bare metal areas after conversion. He did an awes
  11. bump for info! What is the procedure for adding a Galil hand guard? I did a quick search but found nothing. I think I would like to add a black one to mine. Any info is appreciated!
  12. What is the normal price for the S12 when you can find them? How much would a S12 with a simple conversion like mine go for? I was thinking about maybe converting another one. Yeah I just found the vest guy. When I first clicked on the link I was wondering what that had to do with Saiga rifles. I might buy one a little down the road.
  13. I see. Thanks for the info. I got my NIB from a local shop for $380 and I have about another $250 into it from all the parts and to have it converted. This thing is FUN to shoot! What do you mean about the missing the boat and who knows when the next one will be? Oh what is out there for magazine pouches? Thanks!
