  1. Hi guys 1 Hay, Cobra 76 two where is the choke on http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/c-deact_ak74m.htm 2 What is this type of choke used for? for example: I use 00 buck shot & for 3 gun shoot I use heavy field loads 2/34 2 to 4 range. Would the choke help in distance, holding the bullets together as they go through the air? 40 to 50 yards in distance. thanks Stu
  2. Hi Guys If you ever make a floor plate for the saiga 12ga, put me down for 4 thanks Stu
  3. Hi Guys If I cut the barrel down I will do this through a gun smith. Then I will ask him to thread it to another type of choke thread, than the saiga. As the saiga chokes are to hard to get. & that there is only two types to use. Will need to think about the brand of choke to use. What ever is the most common. Would cut it down to maybe 16 plus choke. I guess the choke would be 1.5 inch or so total 17.5 Stu
  4. Hi Guys question: I think I have read in a post that there is a difference between the 22 inch version & the 19 inch version? is this true? 1 The gas system holes are bigger? or smaller than the 19? 2 is there a difference in the receiver? 3 Would it still have the bolt open button? The reasons why I ask, is due to some 22 inch saiga are selling cheaper than the 19 inch. My intentions if I purchased the 22 inch version is to cut it down to the minimum with choke. Need your comments

  12. Hi Guys In relation to the 3 gun shoot, I would not use any low recoil rounds, as there is not enough power to cycle the action!!!!!!!!!!...... example
  13. Hi Guys the super target, low recoil just did not have enough power to cycle the shotgun. On gas setting 2, for lite loads. I would never buy them again. Put through 50 rounds. Plus another 6 rounds of standard 2 3/4 hunting rounds 3. All 6 hunting rounds cycled the saiga Stu

    Mags and bolt

Hi guys have had the shotgun out, to see if it was true that you could load the magazine with the bolt closed. At first I was going to give up, due to the pressure on the magazine, forcing the mag into the well of the saiga. I used a 5 round magazine with only 5 rounds in the mag. After a little bit of playing around I found that putting pressure on the front part of the flower. Pushing the mag up the well, but clearly putting more pressure forward. Pushing the mag forward was the key. Hope you can understand. Conclusion: when I could do this with the 5 rounds &
