I too, had this dilemna - and went with this one: ez-sling For only $25 including shipping, it is hard to beat. Getting ready to order a second for the AR. THere are also videos on the site which show how to install and use, very good for someone who has little experience with the 3-pt types.

I was waiting for the attack, It is so my wife can shoot it too - the low recoil stuff does not work for me.

Large is what you need, already checked. Does the pad interfere with the bolt cycling at all - shortstroking, or am I overanalyzing the physics of all this.

Did you get the tacstar switch? If so, any problems with heat or not working. I assume it is momentary on as long as i depressed? I would prefer one that you pressed once, light on, press again, light off. Thanks for the help.

nope. all four holes present and visible. could it not be broken in enough. I got about 50-60 rounds through it. I though the break in was only to cycle low power on 1 though...

I will check tonite. If this is the case, is there anything that can be done that does not involve a major rework? Will it pose any issues down the road if I stick to full power shells and scrap the idea of the low power stuff?

Barrel has not been cut. gas plug is tight as it will go. need to check the holes. RRA of scottsburg IN, imported it.

Even on setting 2, it will not properly cycle the low recoil stuff. This is not birdshot (haven't tried that yet). It is 00 buck - low recoil, Fichochi to be exact (1050 fps as opposed to the Federal 1325fps I normally use). Not a huge deal, I got them so my wife could enjoy the shotgun too. Just curious as to why it is not functioning. On setting 1, the bolt does not even move. On setting 2, it goes halfway back and the shell jams on the way out. Anyone else have this problem?

I want to add a light to the Saiga 12 and was hoping to get some feedback/recommendations here. Is one mounted under the front handguard (via rail) have any advantages to just getting a standard low profile side AK mount and placing it directlyover the receiver? These are basically my options. Pros and cons of each? Also, what is a good light that can take the recoil that will not break the bank? Thanks all.

Looking for a decent, but inexpensive laser for a Saiga-12 that can stand up to the recoil. Not a red dot, but an actual laser sight. ANy ideas?
