  1. Durability reports on LRBHO for the Saiga 12 please......
  2. No prob w/the employees, but I REFUSE to buy from Great Wall of China Mart. Did you know Wal-Mart is responsible for the sale of 10% of China's exports worldwide? Plus, they will price items BELOW COST in order to force smaller competitiors out of business. I don't need anything bad enough to buy from Wal-Mart.
  3. Be careful bro...the Mall Ninjas are watchin' !
  4. I'd scout it out and see what you're up against as far as winning patterns at X yards using whatever shells they provide. Then check your gun's pattrern before the next match. Tweak as needed.
  5. It is correctly pronounced Troh-mix in its finished form
  6. If you have removeable chokes, you'll want an extra-full turkey choke and a long throat reamed into your barrel. Brownell's and Midway both sell the carbide reamer for about $189 IIRC. Barrel ports will help also, as a slower shot column is tighter. Some of these guys even roll-choke their barrel partway down tighter than extra-full to cheat a bit. That way when the muzzle is gauged, it looks like they're using a legal choke constriction. Of course, this is easy to see if they're not very careful when they roll-choke the barrel. It's an equipment race.
  7. I like to use a sling attached at twor points and wrap my non-firing forearm through it. It's a great help in offhand shooting, and using this method, I was able to down a deer on the first shot (shoulder hit) with my Savage Tactical 308 from the kneeling position at a measured ~600yds, witnessed. \brag off
  8. A cheap drill press is < $50. A cheap electric hand drill is <$20

    AGP mag fix!

All five of mine work great with everything I tried except Federal LE reduced recoil buck/slugs. Some of them ram into the feed ramp. It REALLY eats up Estate Heavy Field loads. I'll figure out the reduced recoil loads.

If you have to take any kind of crap at all about your guns you may want to re-think things. I told my wife when we first started dating that if she didn't like my having guns, we'd better stop right here. She never gives me any crap about guns. Hell, she talked me into dropping the $$ to get my 50, and bought me the scope!
  11. Greasings and lubrications to both of you! WESSON PARTY at Cobra's place!!!!!!!
  12. The loader on Alien was stock Cat parts and it worked. The part you didn't see was the power plant for it. They had multiple attachment points for the lines from the pump which were edited out in post.
  13. Atlantic Firearms may have a Tromix or two in stock.
  14. When AI gets better, unstoppable androids are going to become a reality.
  15. That press works, I have one, but there is a LOT of slop in the ram. I get very high runout using it on rifle cases. On pistol cases it's not too bad. I have an old RCBS O frame I use for low quantities. I use my Dillon 650 for almost everything else.
  16. Only 3? First 3 I could lay my hands on, mission dependent.
  17. Brownell's Alumahyde II worked really well on my AMD-65 build. It cures by time, not heat. 2 week cure time. Holding up well. Looks like parkerizing.
  18. LRBHO that works on unmodded mags and a decent BHO lever.
  19. We used to think cops were our friends. Now, we fear them. Police state here we come. Yes, there are some good cops. But they are fewer and fewer every year.
  20. Want a 16oz propane bottle to make a fireball? Shoot it with a 50 BMG spotter/tracer into a hard backstop. Better be a few hundred yards off. If you happen to hit a bit high and blow the valve off it becomes a rocket with a random trajectory. Another fun one with the 50 is a 5gal bucket full of water, inverted. It goes off like a bomb from hydrostatic shock. Use a good hunting type bullet or a spotter, and ALWAYS be aware of your backstop. Smaller stuff: Golf balls with any caliber. Ping pong balls are fun too. Eggs @ 175yds are tough targets and cheap. Don't forget pumpkins, but fill them
  21. Savage Tactical in 308. Accurate <.5MOA for mine. EASILY a 500 yd gun. I dropped a deer at a measured ~600yds with a 165gr Sierra HPBT, from the kneeling position, with sling wrap, witnessed by three people. AKs are good, I have a couple, but for the most accuracy for your $, nothing beats a good bolt gun.
