  1. I'm just pissed that the sob passed the NICS check. How in the hell did that happen? Two major disqualifying incidents and he passes? I've done transfers for federal agents with all kinds of credentials that get 3 day waits, and somehow this POS passed?
  2. Tomorrow could very well be the last day antifa gets away with anything ever again if they mess with the wrong folks. Lots of people are more than ready to kick some antifa ass.
  3. Agree, it's a bit heavy, but solid. I'm thinking with the pad this would be a really nice stock on an S12.
  4. Actually, it functions well. Still haven't been to the see how much the handguards will heat up, but it does feature a heatshield. The buttstock is sturdy and I really like the riser. Being able to adjust the length is also cool. All in all, I'm really happy with it. Before I forget, the pg is great. Feels very natural in the hand. Much better than a standard AK grip.
  5. I'm trying to link a pic from imgur. How do I do this again?
  6. If they start shit, they are done. I don't believe the country has much sympathy towards them or their cause. Many more people now see them for what they really are. An armed revolt against the American people won't go down well. Hell, even the Japanese army knew not to try shit here. But I guess those punks have been too busy burning history books because they hurt their feelings, and they never bothered to read one.
  7. My furniture arrived today. They didn't have black, so I opted for the tan set. Damn it not only looks great, it's solid as heck! Had to come back to the office, but tonight it's going on my converted 74, and the stock currently on the 74 is going to the new 7.62 conversion. Win win. Hey quick question, if you were going to match Chinese norinco orange, which stain would you use? I found a pretty good wood buttstock for my mak90 that looks pretty close to the real McCoy in shape, size, and angle. I just gotta match the color up.
  8. Anyone else find the buttstock interesting? I'm thinking of using one on my 7.62 conversion, which bty turned out to be my most difficult ever. The freaking rivets on the trigger plate were practically welded on. I never struggled with any other conversion like I did with this one.
  9. I agree. I can get a brand new WASR for much less. I'll keep looking around. Robski's 5000 round challenge is totally killing the c39 that he's currently testing.
  10. Found one mint. Pawn shop want $650 for it. I'm tempted. The manager even allowed me to break it down for inspection and there is zero wear on it. The only thing I noticed was that previous owner switched out brake for a slant type. What do you guys think?
  11. Well he accepted the scholarship. He will have options when he graduates so he's currently not locked in to any particular service branch. Right now he's off doing the Ranger Challenge somewhere here in Texas.
  12. Thank you. Far from great, but we did and continue to try our best everyday. It's hard raising kids, but the thing both my wife and I do that neither of us remembers our parents doing is we share life experience. Basically, we try to arm the kids with knowledge before they go out and repeat our mistakes. So far, so good.
  13. Extremely proud. He worked his ass off in high school to finish top of his class and is doing the same in college.
  14. My son is currently a chem engineering major in Army ROTC program. The state representative that nominated him said he has to be in ROTC and commit to 4 years to qualify.
  15. No, because he is receiving the money up front. The Army has offered to pay his medical profession if he commits to 10 years, and he's fine with that. But he wants to do that immediately following his undergrad.
  16. Wondering if any of you would know. My son was nominated by our state representative for a military scholarship that would pretty much seal the deal money wise for his college expenses in exchange for service after graduation. My question is are deferments standard options? He's thinking med or pharmacy school first, then service. He has no reservations about serving, but wants his professional doctorate first.
  17. You raise an interesting point and question. I'm not sure if you can get a bumpstock to work on a bipod. Anyone know?
  18. The more I think a bout it, the more the words "won't negotiate with terrorists" reverberate through my mind. Fuck the lefties. Someone pulled the trigger on those rifles, bumpstocks or not. We shouldn't give them shit. They on the other hand owe us our cans. The more I think a bout it, the more the words "won't negotiate with terrorists" reverberate through my mind. Fuck the lefties. 19. Like I said, if we get cans in exchange for novelty stocks, then it's a good deal. If we don't get a thing, then we all get the shaft.
  20. Looks like the NRA wants to deal. Cans for bumpstockd. I'll take a can over s bumpstock any day.
