  1. Has anybody heard from cobra about his LRBHO project, for as long as he's been tryin to get the thing out and done right I would at least like to give him a shot at it first...aside from that his has been functional for what ?? at least 3 years now, thats a good enough test program for me.

    Uh Oh...

You do know that post will cause at least 5 straight out heart attacks and another 3 strokes right ?
  3. I have said it before and I'll say it again, that is the FINEST ASS I have ever seen
  4. OK.....why on earth would anyone want to decock the hammer on a live round ?? When you racked the bolt to cock the weapon for use you would just lose that round so what am I missign here ?

    Dry Firing?

The hammer spring wont wear out, the hammer wont explode, the bolt carrier wont destory itself, the mainspring wont lose tension and become useless. Nothing will happen. That's it. The gun was made to have the bolt held back, it was made to be fired, dry or not. The reason it's in the manual is to remove potential liability. Like nalioth said. What more do you want? Ya know gkcf you were doin good....right up to the point you decided to show your ass, sometimes the short answer is the best. Please stop trying to impress me and others with your knowledge (all 13 months) and j

    Dry Firing?

No gkcf he didn't, and neither did you, now if you have a real answer please enlighten me with your vast knowledge but if not anybody else wanna give it a go ?
  7. To bad you didn't have a couple of MD 20 rd's drums loaded to rip off a few 20 rd mag dumps as fast as you could just to show the Fudd how "bad" the saigas are nuthin like making a fool look like an ass in front of his own son .

    Dry Firing?

As has been answered thousands of times before, it's not the constant state of the spring that wears it out. Slack or taut, the spring won't wear. It's the usage of the spring that makes it wear out. . . (yes, this goes for magazine springs, too) Yeah Nalioth I knew about the mag springs, I have seen that particular question "thousands of times before" myself but didn't know if the hammer spring was a different matter due to the manual warning , but thanks for your opinion, anybody else have a thought on the HAMMER SPRING question ?

    Dry Firing?

OK I'm gonna ask what will probably be a stupid question…..but it won't be the first or the last one I have ever asked, one of the posters said that the manual states NOT to leave the bolt back (and the hammer cocked with the BHO engaged I assume), is there a good reason for this manufacturers statement other than a safety concern, will the practice of leaving the hammer spring under tension for extended periods of time damage it in any way ?
  10. Hey snake your buddy with the guns shop have a e-mail addy you could share ? Or a shop phone would be even better if you could pass it along. PM with the info if you don't think posting the info would be a good idea. Also if a forum supporter could get on the ball fast enough I would rather buy from one of them...at $85.00 or less of course
  11. Seems to me it should be a good thing if someone like me wanted to "waste" that much money ($85 plus tax) on this drum almost nobody else here would have bought, just to try it and see it it would run in my S-12. It may fly apart in a million pieces one day (doubtful), but for right now it is running like a raped ape. Hey snake were did you find one for $85.00 ?? The one's on the Pro Mag web page are $103.00, I respect all that Mike D and all the others have done for this hobby of ours but I just gotta have one of those 12 rounders after your comments and $85.00 is better than $103.00
  12. I don't mean to be insulting but you do have the proper NFA paperwork already stamped and in hand before you start this little journey right ?
  13. I know, I know ....I'm putting on my Point Blank underwear but has anybody heard any more about the progress (if any) on the various LRBHO devices being developed, I would think that in itself would make the entire question of mag seating quite academic.
