I've done it. Our club has a 5 stand set-up with 10 throwers. The best I have done is 8 out of 25. I have the 19 inch model with no choke and I am not a skilled clay shooter. No one wants to be to my right as they claim my gun is louder than anyone elses. I am fortunate that no one at the club that I have met so far is a snob.

Can anyone give me rough ballistics using a slug out at 100 and 200 yards? For reasons I would rather not get into aside from that I am married, I am not going to be able to afford an elk rifle this year and may not be able to find one to loan. That leaves me with a Saiga 12 and a Yugo AKMS. I can hunt big game in CO with a 5 round mag in shotgun, but the AK will need to be dropped to 5 rounds somehow. I need to know an approximation of how much a slug will drop at 100 yards. Thanks

The paper mine came wrapped in said "toxic". I think something was lost in translation.

I have a Century Yugo M70AB. I really don't shoot that or any of my guns that much due to cost of ammo. I don't think the Yugo has ever jammed on me. The wire underfolder does induce pain in the shoulder snd it might not be the best stock to get a good cheek weld on, but that is not why i bought it. It also fits in a standard tennis racket case. You should get the tool to adjust the front sights. I also bought a sling for it.

I don't see any reason why not. When I get the upgrade pins and it isn't so difficult to remove the cover, I'll give it a try. I have the tech sights for the Ruger 10/22 and recommend them for that rifle. I have not purchased them for the AK so I can't comment on them for this application.

Great idea. I asked the Colo. Div. of Wildlife officer about plugs and he said it needs to be something that cannot be extracted through the gun, such as dummy rounds.

I had a similar problem that I admit was user error. I was riding the bolt back with my hand after loading the mag instead of letting it snap back from the very end of its open position. In slowing it down with my hand, it did not have enough pressure to fully close. This was my issue, may not be yours though.

Remember when the Harley V-Rod came out? It was 17k and people were spending 24k. -
I am pretty sure that the the Denver ban is legal because Sportsman's Warehouse won't sell you an AR if you live in "Denver" and the RMGO site is pretty accurate when dealing with the local laws. I know the there is a state pre-emption for conceal carry, meaning you can carry concealled regardless of local prohibitions

One parts kit is up to $149 with 10 bidders. I bought one at the gun show last week for $70 and I thought I got ripped off, I guess not. -
I don't think Obama needs legislation. Didn't Clinton sign an executive order banning Chinese rifles and ammo? http://www.conservativeusa.org/eo/clinton.htm Some are speculating, some are hoping, that Obama will do the same. Personally, I am not running out and buying everything I need forever, but I did get some parts for an AR-15 and an 800 round tin of 7.62 that bring my total of 7.62 to 1200 rounds along with just a 20 round box of .223.
