Do our Saigas still need to be converted to use 10 rounders (sorry, I haven't been keeping up with the latest legal changes)? It seems like this would be a major deterent to people who would like do use them and thus limit the gun's overall popularity. I love my Saiga but don't use it very often and have a hard time justifing the expense of converting so I can use 10 (or 8) round mags.
I've never seen any of the guys in my area use them. Obviously they prefer the long sight lines on thier dedicated trap guns. Well, since the S12 doesn't have long sight lines to begin with, would a reflex type red dot sight be of any use?
I just tried trap for the first time ever and used my S-12 (which was only the second time I have used it). I have the raised sight rib, 22 in. barrel, & full fixed choke. Do I keep using one eye or should I be leaving them both open?
