  1. 80% are not hard to do if you have a drill press,a router, and a 80% jig but it does take time. Most of the sites selling the lowers sell the tooling necessary to complete them. I would get one of the 80s that have the rear of the receiver milled out a bit already, saves time.
  2. I will be looking to get a M1 carbine with my return and some AR parts to finish up a project.
  3. They are done tweaking the mags and were happy with the results from their test fire. They should start shipping next week.

  5. You might not have to take the magwell off to get the mag release back in. I just couldnt figure out how to do it otherwise. Has anyone else switched theirs out? Did you have to take the magwell off to get the release in?
  6. So I just barely finished installing the same mag release from CSS. It was kind of a pain in the ass for me. In my case I ended up removing the mag well in order to get the mag release and spring back in. I just couldn't manipulate it with the mag well in place. Removing the magwell was a breeze, I just used a flat head screw driver that I dremeled the middle out of to get around the screw that the nut sits on. Once the magwell was off I was able to get the spring and release back in place and used a rivet that I cut to length to install the mag release back in. I made sure it was only long e
  7. So Jealous! I have been eyeing either the Hellion or the Vakra for a while now. I have been noticing their turn around times keep extending everytime I log into their site. I need to jump on one soon before it turns into 12 weeks, I've just been having a hard time deciding between the 2 blades. They are far from a machete that are mass produced and sold for 10 or 20 bucks, they are works of art that are functional as well. Congratulations on your purchase. I look forward to reading your chopping/cutting reviews!
  8. Did you fabricate the lower rail for your FB hand guard? I just got mine back from them and it did not have a lower rail? So I was supposed to get a comp put on but there was some confusion and mine shipped without it being on. I can either send it back in to get it on or receive a credit. Is the comp a must have in your opinion? How's the reliablity with it on there? I shot mine yesterday only 120 rounds or so but I did not have a single feeding issue with the gun or the 10 round mag.
  9. Is the polymer stock supplied the one pictured on the VEPR on your website? (Not a Tapco?)
  10. Very clean and well organized safe! I bought the same light set at a gun show earlier this year. Are you using the door pressure switch with your kit? I tried using some 3M tape to hold it in place but after a week or so the switch gets pushed back and the batteries die. I probably need to screw the switch into the door but I do not like the idea of drilling into my safe. You heard correctly, always buy more safe than what you think you'll need. My first safe was a 30x27 and I filled it in 2 years. I later purchased a second larger safe and it too is now full. Every time I buy a new gun so
  11. Preorder for 1 placed, if i order a second would you combine shipping?
  12. Ordered mine!! Happy early birthday to me!
  13. I'm liking that stock on there, looks really good!
