  1. SammoH: Dont you use blue lok-tite? that should fix your problem with your loose screws
  2. In some areas, you cant hunt with .223 . The good thing about the 223 if you can use it, as well as the 308, is the quality ammo from major manufacturers that you can get. 308 can also get pretty steep for an afternoon of target practice. But for plinking and other general use, I prefer 7.62x39 myself. I know guys here that hunt with 7.62x39 in the woods (under 100 yards to target in my parts normally) and have good success with it. Wolf ammo and the other russian import ammo is so cheap its hard to go wrong. You can order 7.62x39 by the brick from places like www.cheaperthandirt.com for under
  3. It sounds like its a malformed rail on the gun, or the part that mates to the rail of the gun on the scope mount itself to me. Ive seen a few posts about side rail mounts that people have had problems zeroing with. What kind of mount is it? maybe someone that has had the one you have will know if there is a solution to your problem. You might also try complaining to the company. They import the gun, and the mount you bought.
  4. I mean this in the nicest way: YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY!!!
  5. Ky: I am loyal to my local dealer. Id rather give him the extra 50 and not have to worry about anything but when i can take it home. I have to wait on the drag tho for a few weeks. did i ever say that i LOVE cheap guns?
  6. i want to take that romanian dragunov off my dealer's hands for 799 with the original scope....im goin another saiga this week and a 9mm cheap carbine tho instead....love cheap guns guys...cant help it
  7. no, you find out and ship me in NY state offhand for your reference. sounds good to me. I prefer ultralight freshwater lures. satwater is fine, I can fish for stripers with those instead. read your msg.
  8. well like i said, ill help ya out. all i ask for in return is for you to go to a local bait shop and mail me back a fishing lure that works great locally to you. I like to ask for that kinda stuff cause our fish here are friggin smart as hell, and I try to use lures they;ve never seen before. deal? Figure that should cover my cost to mail to you...
  9. just thought Id share a couple of my favorite toys....
  10. Like I said, I'll help you out if you can prove its all legal and good to me to my satisfaction. not a big deal otherwise, if its a technical issue thats just been confused i dont think. check your import laws to the T then show me them. thats a good start. I have video of you and your pal on an english range with your saiga 12s and your damn 8 round mags empyting them into the sky anyway. LOL so its all good. prove they are your weapons and that its legal for us to mail said parts, and im sure a few of us would be more than willing to help you guys out. -b p.s.- stupid question....is
  11. hey Im a troll..........you dont mind if I shoot back , do ya
  12. try to buy your ammo if you mail away for it in bulk. yes, that ammo is ok. you might (probably wont) get a split casing out of 1000 rounds, and you cant reload it is all....
  13. What exactly is grounds for delayal when you buy a gun from the shop? I have ten guns, and each and every time I buy a new gun from the shop, (like today) I am delayed. I know noone else that this happens to, and I am a bit concered as to why this is. Anyone know why this happens exactly? Its becomming very inconvienient for me, but otherwise isnt a big deal for me to have to wait a few days....
  14. Its in the definitions of the federal firearms laws...quoted them already, scroll up...
  15. ASSASSIN: you are just going to cut it up and make a break out of it arent you? Why cant you just use your metal working skills and get a turkey choke that protrudes from the muzzle with the porting already on it and rethread your barrel for a standard choke tube type? LOL Too conventional im sure. If you can show me what I have to do, and that it is most definately legal, you can ship it to me, with completed paperwork, and I'll send it out to you in a jiff.
  16. Hey I know I get under ppl's skin and all but come on already. Where do you all go in the world and talk about guns without getting into arguements? Id love to go there.
  17. Im guessing that Woody has the exact problem nailed down with that Witness .45 having feeding problems. Some guns just dont like certain bullet nose shapes. I had a friend with a pistol (cant even remember what it was now) that would gobble up round nose FMJ all day, but you put in a flat nose FMJ or a HP round, and it just looked at you like it wasnt hungry anymore. If you do experience problems like feeding issues and such, try getting your feeding ramp polished and chromed. Thats usually 9/10ths of the problem anyway....but Im sure we all knew that anyways, right?
  18. What about something that attaches to the bottom of your seatbelt? I thought a company was making those, actually, but that seems like it would be the best way of carrying in your vehicle. Either that or a dash mount like the tow truck drivers use...
  19. In all of your examples, yes you CAN. Why? Because every weapon you put up as an example WAS designed to accept a factory made PG configuration. In order for you to put one on say...remington trap guns will be able to pg, because the stock mounting point is the standard old reminigton mount, and there are factory grips for that particular mount. There are no factory mounts for the saiga's. Not that I am aware of. There is only one model of saiga that has a PG on it that I am aware of and it has its own model #. I havent had the opportunity to examine the way the PG is mounted onto the 12c mode
  20. We are saying in the end, the same thing, Im just going by defenitions and not clauses here. What Im saying is if its made after the laws in question went into effect, you cannot alter the original deal. The saiga with the PG, 12c, is originally MADE that way. It is not just fired from the shoulder by design anymore. That gun is made that way, hence the PG comes WITH it. The other models have different names for them. Meaning they are not the 12c specifically. Even BEFORE the AWB laws that added into there, this definition comes up FIRST in the law. That is why that model of saiga has a differ
  21. Enough for a couple days for me with this topic, my head is spinning....
  22. I know what the problem is here....you are looking at the wrong laws here. You are referring to the assualt weapons laws. I am quoting out of the Federal Firearms Regulations Guide from the ATF. (ATF P5300.4(01-00)) out of the section named (921. Definitions (5) and (7)) This comes before the AWB laws. NO you CANT put a PG on a post ban 10/22. I do believe the pump shotguns fall into this as well. They have to be the EXACT MODEL that is available WITH a pistol grip STOCK. You usually get these guns WITH a pistol grip when you buy them new. (if you havent, better get a new shop) Im te
