I deal with it by sitting down with something to read... (NOT on a computer..)usually makes me sleepy. If that doesn't work then I attack the problems in my mind that usually keep me from sleep, like this pile of bolts and triggers I'll be working on til about 3 or so. Then I'm so fuckin tired when I finish I have no problem laying down and it's lights out in less than 5 minutes.

after some information negotiating over beer, mapquest and visual ID, and then going to a particular scrapyard and locating my dad's stolen property, someone and his buddy are looking at almost 15 counts of burglary for stealing everyone's boat batteries from my dad's canal last week. sherriff and detectives were pretty pleased and are in the process of doing thier part.

sold an historic piece of computer hardware to a collector for cheap. happy. sold another chip to a museum cheap, happy. sold another piece of prototype hardware from 1982 with no serial # cheap to I dunno who yet, cheap, happy. I WISH I NEVER THREW OUT THE DUMPSTER FULL OF STUFF I HAD.
