Weather was great and everyone had a good time. Esp one 10yr(?) boy who out shot his dad on the pistol course with Dad's .45, lol. First off he is 12 not 10!! lol.. Secondly he did miss 2 on the pistol course but not because of bad shooting but because he didn't see them. They were the 2 hidden behind the tree's. Third, I couldn't be more proud. He usually shoots a 9mm(which I left back at the hotel on accident) and has only shot the 45 once. He adapted very quickly and did a great job. He dropped the first 3 with one shot each! ^^this I live in this area and love it. I am from the far North Side and moved up here 12 years ago. Much more laid back. Also pretty good schools. I am in the same boat as you are as far as the work thing goes. I am a contractor and we work all around the Chi-town area. Thats where the $$ is compared to working here. About half the people that live around here work in IL. Also, I happen to have a house for rent/lease/ maybe sale in Kenosha. PM me if you want some details.

RED I am not demanding they "sell" me a rifle, I just want them to honor a sale that has been paid for a month now. Believe me, the store manager did not seem happy about telling me. He thought corporate was making a big mistake. I was not about to make a sceen or start in on him. He has no choice in store policy. Also i belive the word is already out about them.

From what the store told me, corpoate either mailed the check today or will be on Monday. Either way I will not be cashing it or using the gift card. Again this is what the manager "heard" from corporate.

I have thought suing them. I have a good friend who is a lawyer and I plan on talking to him after Christmas. I'll see what he says. I am going to hold on to the refund check I am supposed to get. If not him I am sure some lawyer will get wind of this and take some sort of action. I smell class action!

I will never shop there again. They have lost a customer for life. Worst part is that I thought I was set for all this panic buying and now I am SOL.

I usually don't post much, just read, but I am Pi$$ed. I don't have any AR's just AK's so I was one of the folks who ordered a Troy 5.56 Carbine from Dick's Sporting Goods on Black Friday. When I originally purchased it they said they would honor the price and not to worry. Then after they pulled all their evil black rifles last week I called customer service and they said since I ordered before they were pulled they would still get me the rifle. So today while Christmas shopping with the wife I decided to stop by and talk to the gun counter guy and see if he has a date for the delivery. Appar
