First off, Wally sells pretty much the same Chinese made items as EVERY OTHER DAMNED STORE. Secondly, China is pretty much Communist in name only at this point, with an expanding middle class. The blue box are 1290 FPS, IIRC the bulk box are 1200 FPS, so they are apparently loaded a little hotter. Shot them today for the first time since converting and getting my AGP 10 rounder. One FTF on the last round but otherwise ran great. Damn I love that gun.

Federal 100 round boxes cost $2 more than four 25 round boxes, at least at my local Wally World.

When I did my conversion a few months back I got a UTG Combat Pad for Dinzag, and man is that thing hard as a rock. Anybody else own one of these and have the same problem? I've heard other brands of Grenade launcher style recoil pad being a lot softer. Is there some trick to soften it up or should I just get a new one?

Installed new HG and fixed PG.

So I took her for test drive today. First was a factory five round mag full of Federal slugs, ran flawlessly. Next was AGP 10 round with cheapo Winchester white box game/target/something loads. As I loaded the mag I saw "ULTRA LITE" staring me right in the face, much to my dismay. As expected nearly every round is FTF or FTE. A few times the trigger got stuck back, racking the bolt carrier corrected it. Still don't know if it was the rounds or the internals that caused it. Good eye. Yeah it looked like grip screw was bottoming out on the bottom of the receiver before the grip was flush. Tightening it more only made the back of the grip lift up.

Yep that's the plan. The only reason I only did this much is limited budget. I'm also hoping to get an MD-20, elevated front sight, Tac47 Auto Plug, Polychoke, possible a PK sight.

FUCKYEAH! I've had my S12 for four and a half years and finally got around to converting it. Not perfect but not bad for my first foray into amateur gunsmithery. Still waiting on my Arsenal RPK style handguard and retainer. Hopefully I'll be able to test fire it this afternoon.

Sorry, had to run out before I could finish what I was saying. I picked up a Tapco G2 S12 FCG, retention plate, RAM trigger guard, hole plugs, Tapco black poly stock, MD Arms Molot pistol grip, grip screw, Arsenal RPK style handguard, HG retainer, and AGP gen2 10 round mag. Did I get enough US made parts? Looks like eight with the mag, five without. I have a threaded muzzle with factory protector if that makes a difference.

Had my S-12 since August 2006 and finally ordered my conversion parts from Dinzag last night. Can't wait to get her converted.

So I'm probably gonna be doing a PG conversion on my S-12 soon. I was looking for a possible red dot/collimating/reflex sight for it and found these on binocularsmart.com for $140. The only other place I found them was gunaccessories.com, but that is the weaver rail mounted version. Has anyone had any experience with these? Has anyone ever purchased from this seller? edit: I have been informed on another forum that binocularsmart.com has been out of business for sometime. I've since read horrible reviews from when they were in business.

I'll be getting conversion parts for Christmas, including a Saigatech trigger guard. What can I use to finish the Saigatech that best matches the factory finish in color and gloss?
