Remington would rather have private 2A ownership ES & Die than pass up the coin; http://www.wham1180.com/pages/localn...ticle=11042313 I wouldn't buy an AK if it had Remmy's name on it, let alone the cure for cancer from them. North Korea...Scary Stuff

I'm betting this dumbass administration is hoping the USA is too distracted from the efforts to ban EBRs to notice how the administration is such an epic fail over the BIG issues facing the USA. Keep the drumbeats over hi-caps and ARs - maybe we won't even notice NK, Iran, Cyprus banking, the jobless recovery in this nation. -
Old news? Magpul, Olympic Arms speak up
nfafan replied to nfafan's topic in Second Amendment, 922r & the law
Up to 9-pages of Magpul talk at arfcom when it was revealed that Magpul will continue to sell to BAN STATE .gov's. Maybe they needed to raise cash for moving vans? Or buy CO properties to build grow-houses for the weed, man... Way to support the 2A there Magpul... In a related note, Gwovenor Cwoumo had the NY law adjusted to exempt Hollyweird productions inside NY from the AWB and mag bans. Can't irritate the money men, can they? -
Old news? S&W also have a Ruger-like send-a-message

Hornady has one too... http://www.hornady.com/in-the-news/protect-your-rights -
http://www.facebook.com/magpul/posts/428803833863947 http://www.newjerseyhunter.com/article145521.htm We need ALL gun companies to put some skin in the game. Would have been great if the NY gun companies would have stood up to be counted as an early example for the other anti-2A states to take notice of... Guess no Remmy, Kimber, ATI products for me...

Meanwhile, my reply back to the most boring senator in the known universe after his auto-reply to me; Dear Mr. Casey, Thank you for the acknowledgement of our communications with your auto-reply, but I think we have a problem here - and I know that you don’t want to be a problem to your constituency here in Pennsylvania. First off to your opening points, Yes – we are ALL horrified and repulsed by the events in Newtown. But… What was being hidden behind a smokescreen of anti-gun rhetoric is the fact that a vidiot-gaming nutcase took his mother’s LEGAL guns - purchased and

Wow, you got lucky! I've had my unconverted RAAC SAIGA up for a FTF WTT for a Mini-14 for months and no takers on the trade. All those owners of 14yr-old Minis have suddenly become awfully proud of their guns. I gave up and stopped bumping the ad, I'll see about ordering a new Mini at WalMart. Maybe they can order a RAAC SAIGA at WalMart...

Then it's not done until the fat bitch sings. We need to keep our pressure up with ALL politicians on both sides of the aisle and in both houses. Even pound on Feinswine herself.

How did things change so much?
nfafan replied to coronet's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
No, we started to devolve in the 60's. I lived it. Yes, every old coot can point to a late generation as the "lost generation" - but the 60s got the ball in play... We started into the anti-war/anti-establishment movement, sex, drugs, rock n roll. "If it feels good - do it"/"Do watcha wanna do". Screw the consequences of the mid/late 60's. Movies became more graphic both in violence and sex. When I was in highschool in the 60's, we didn't bring guns to school, rape and murder our teachers, and conversely, our teachers were old and ugly - so thankfully none wanted sex with US. We didn -
You asked, so... My Century built Yugo M70AB2 U/F is my favorite AK. The majority of the gun are original Yugo-quality parts, built with a USA barrel and NDS "RPK" recvr. Whoever built it for Cent did it right, as opposed to the C93 builders... My 2nd favorite is an old, privateer-built 100% matching Polish U/F AKM with original barrel - flyweight compared to the Yugo but each part is visibly well finished and crafted, and usually S/Numbered together. The Radom quality oozes from the parts and NDS makes a great recvr to connect them all together. My SAIGA 7.62x39 - sweet, but I bou

My wife works at a pre-school and sees all manner of broken homes and poor parenting on a daily basis. As soon as news broke that his mother was dead - she said he was the product of a divorced home environment. She called it right. Not that divorce leads to this crap, but when our society rights off the nuclear family and parental involvement - and self discipline - this nation began our de-evolution. Don't have to go back any farther than the '60s.

Relatedly - how does an unconverted 16" RAAC SAIGA compare to a single-stack SA2000M? Worth trading away the SAIGA?

IIRC, the CHICOMs tend to have vent holes in their "gas tube". Said "gas tube" is unlike an AR gas tube and is more properly a piston-guide-tube; there was a Youtube discussed of a guy shooting an AK without the tube installed at all? http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/8672-video-of-ak-shooting-with-no-gas-tube-installed/ And here.... http://ultimak.com/ShortGasTube.htm

Would be great to have a matching non-sporty wood butt.
