  1. Doubt they'll make a movie with these but was in a good book. For those that remember books when growing up. “To treat everyone equally is offensive, because it fails to recognize anyone as an individual.” “If loving someone is putting them in a straitjacket and kicking them down a flight of stairs, then yes, I have loved a few people.” “Blood may be thicker than water, but it's certainly not as thick as ketchup. Nor does it go as well with French fries.” ― Jarod Kintz
  2. I remember when the kids were the clicker. They are still good for getting a beer out of the fridge.
  3. There were no remotes. Then when it was introduced it was called a "Clicker" for a reason.
  4. Looking at the SportsSmoke hard for a reason, they have a electric ignition device that activates on 9v DC. This has my "Tinker Squirrel" wheel spinning coming up with ideas. The BFG has 70K ft3 of output and is under $20 bucks. From what I've seen it's good to go.
  5. We're targeting the DIY "Operator" crowd. Mall Ninjaz need not apply
  6. Just curious if anyone here uses smoke if so what kind.... And not the newly fashionable liberal pot movement kind either. I'm talking about M18 and M83 smoke grenades. We were looking to find a few cans but they are high as a liberal who believes in Barry's "Change". So we found a recreational manufacturer who makes pull tab versions and was thinking of getting a case to play with and possibly sell. The company is called Sport Smoke. sportsmoke.com Has anyone used them?
  7. Only the MOE+ will have a rubbery grip. The ones we got in are just MOE and did not.
  8. This is what it looks like installed
  9. Good advice to apply in other parts of your life as well. Slap (her ass) Pull (her hair) Observe (her response) Release (if response is negative) Tap (repeatedly) Squeeze (whatever you get your grubby hands on) Sometimes there will be a lot of tapping and swearing. (who doesn't like dirty pillow talk)
  10. Gun sales have slowed down, not much in the future for "Squarebacks". It is rumored the "Slantbacks" will return with finished furniture.
  11. Per Ed @ Centerfire they do not know. They believe these were to be the last. But in talks today with persons with close ties to the importers, VEPRs will still be imported. The word is there is going to be "Slant" backs from here on and there is no definitive number of what caliber just yet. Hopefully we will see something just before Christmas. But with anything having to do with firearms, there is always the "Subject to change" clause.
  12. Was about as educational as watching this and not as amusing.
  13. AZG and Road Warrior PM us your address and we'll send you one of our M4 stock adapters free of charge. All you'll need is a buffer tube to go with. Will
  14. There will be a release sale price through CANIS Design Group for $129 each. Should be on their site in a few days.
  15. We've been talking about it for a while and since we are going into production next week I guess a few pics wouldn't hurt. If you have one of our fixed versions and know how strong it is this is just as strong (Solid Billet). Same solid "L" channel legs for the PG nut to clamp. New adjustable mounting has been incorporated per customer feedback. Hook attachment point for sling just under the hinge. Same corrected geometry as out fixed version that keeps stock in line with barrel Constructed out of T6061 and steel. All contact points are steel, meaning no aluminum to wear in the hinge like oth
  16. We have a batch of M4 Stock adapters that are ready to go. Since Labor Day is this weekend we are going to put them on sale for $45 each plus shipping. Review of the adapter can be seen here... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/89887-texas-ak-designs-m4-tube-adapter-review-mak-90/ Link to buy is here http://texasakdesigns.com/products-page/ak-rifle/ak-to-m4-stock-adapter/ Cheers, Will
  17. There is no way to get around not modifying your AK to take AR mags. All trunnions will need to be opened up to accept AR mags as they are inherently wider than AK mags at the nose/front. The difference between what the new adapter and old adapter in terms of material removal reduction amounts to the thickness of a nickel. The new version will have a throated funnel. They will be released in October.
  18. I can see the caption. "I don't normally shoot thug bitches (wearing hoodies, carrying skittles and watermelon fruit juice to make a drug) in self defense..... but when I do, I use a KelTec."
  19. There is a new company that will be taking on this rifle for production. Right now we are negotiating with a company to cut and bend special receivers for us. We just secured 5.56 bolt production last week. We hope to show in November. For the amount of time it would take to attempt.... then reattempt.... then after getting flustered cause I've yet see a successful Aluminum to Steel weld. The BASTARD bolt on would have saved you a lot of time. The thing about the BASTARD is you can always revert back to an AK just get a mag catch part from a popular AK builder supply and screw/rivet it b
  20. Love GSDs.... We have used 2-3 collars on Ranger. We found out that it is good to have the plastic break away locks. When he got older he was playing with his brother and his jaw locked under the collar of the other dog causing them to panic. (Think two cats tied by the tail over a line.) They tried to kill one another trying to get free. Just so happened the snap gave way as I was approaching which probably saved them and me a lot of damage. While some here do not like the plastic, it may be a good idea to have.
  21. Could have found a dead Mexican gang banger in there.... How is that worse? I could move to Colorado or California and get a prescription for the pot.....
