  1. Wow, I just visited the DaewooRifleparts.com forum. Derek has a serious problem with me. He started a thread, on his own forum, about my guns back in September. I guess I have offended the purist in him. He sells good stuff, but wow, he is using his own forum to beat on me--I don't think that is very business like or appropriate, or nice or fair. However, now that I've seen his forum thread about me. I e-mailed him and asked him to retract the thread. If he does so, I will be cool with him. If not, then the validity of this thread will be reinforced. So, is he a good guy who
  2. Yes, the S-12 is a personal statement of what we like and don't like. I, too, do not like the skull and cross bones charging handles, but I'm a sucker for flash hiders. Tromix shark brake, Chaos Wart Hog, E-Tac Talon, bird cage, Phantom, etc.,I like 'em all! WJ
  3. Drums it shall be, then. I do like the look of the magwell, but the down side is too great. Thanks, WJ
  4. Ugh, so there is no Holy Grail of magwells! Basically, they just don't seem like they are worth the trouble. WJ
  5. If I can lay hands on a Russian S-12 magwell, will it work with unmodified factory mags? Or, must the mags still be modified in some way? Modifying the mags just seems like a hassle to me and having some mags that fit some S-12s, but not my other S-12s is confusing. I have tried painting the modified ones, for rapid differentiation, but I'd rather avoid the whole process by not having to modify any mags.. So, what is the perfect magwell solution. WJ
  6. Probably true. Maybe if I had read his e-mails, he would have changed his mind and wanted to buy both! But, screw him.
  7. The irony to the whole mess is that I do have a small wet/dry vac in the garage. I completely forgot about it. Undoubtedly, it would have made quick work of the mess and saved me a whole lot of effort. All I could think of was what a mess I had made and how proud I was of myself that I didn't bust loose with a string of obsenities in front of the girls and their friends (a small victory, but I'll take them where I find them.)
  8. I'm not sure if Derek is Larry, Moe or Curly--oh, I don't want to say that, it would be an insult to the three stooges. I just saw three e-mails from him on my i-phone. I did not open any of them. I could see from the caption on the first, that he claims to have only been _uc_ing with me. Come on, if I don't know you, or your sense of humor, how or why would I know you were messing with me. I deleted all three without reading any more captions or opening the mail body of the letters. Not worth my time. However, the whole mess did get me thinking, and I decided I like them too muc
  9. I agree, I think it looks really good. If I didn't have a safe full of S-12s and a hankering for more, I have no problem keeping it. I sent the guy a message and told him to kiss my _ss. I also told him that he violated the Gunbroker policy for use of their message system by sending a message that was not directed toward a purchase or sale. (I'm not sure if that is really correct, but let him look it up. lol). WJ
  10. Thanks, Dave. I didn't notice the "Queen" Creek component of his address.
  11. Most of you know I like camo guns. Camo this, and camo that, I like the look and I like to have various colors used. So, I listed my Daewoos on Gunbroker because I'd rather have more shotguns than rifles. Then, the guy, whose link I posted on our forum, to suggest he is a good source to buy parts from, sends me this message via Gunbroker's messaging system: "Dude, please stop ruining Daewoos with your "gayer than three men sharing a bathtub" paintjobs. Jesus wept. Derek Huffman, Daewoo Rifle Parts, Queen Creek AZ" What an ASS! I don't give a rip what he
  12. Well, I decided to list them on Gun Broker. My hankering for S-12s exceeds my desire for any other type of long gun---I am a sick puppy!!!
  13. Have you made a big "mess" lately? I was just emptying the coffee maker, carrying the filter full of used grounds to the trash. I was carrying the wet paper filter and as I reached for the door to the trash, the wet filter ripped. Wet, used, coffee grounds flew into the cabinet and all over the floor. Grounds were in the door hinge, on a slide out rail the trash can sit in and basically all over a five foot radius. My wife didn't say a thing, I couldn't believe it. It took me 20 d___ minutes to clean up that mess. WJ
  14. Great news! I am glad the surgery went well. WJ
  15. CSS is flat out awesome to deal with!!!!!
  16. Mine are still safe queens, so I cannot attest to their accuracy. I plan on shooting the black one, but I'm going to keep the white one unfired. WJ
  17. I have bought a few parts from: http://daewoorifleparts.com/index.php?main_page=products_new My DR-200s were bought NIB, which is becoming rather hard to find since they have not been imported for years. A NIB DR-200 runs between $750.00 and $1,250.00, depending upon many variables. WJ
  18. I like my DR-200s: I had the black one for sale for a while, but decided to keep it, which I am glad I did. They look pretty cool together (I think). WJ
  19. I could visualize the Daewoo fitting right in at the DMZ in the dead of winter. That was the look I wanted, and I think it turned out to fulfill that expectation. WJ
  20. Noooo, I am not anywhere near that skilled. The Daewoo was done by a guy in Michigan and the Winchester, as well as my other two Daewoos, were done by a guy in South Carolina. Both guys do excellent work, but as they are not business members here, I can't give them the credit they are do. If anyone wants to know who they are, just send me a pm. WJ
  21. Here are a couple of my non-Russian long guns. The Daewoo DR-200 was cerakoted in winter digital camo. The Winchester 1300 Defender is duracoated in mortar, with od green furniture and a fiber optic front sight. WJ
  22. CRAP!!! I just bought it yesterday, but have not played it yet. I had high hopes for this game. I, too, am sick of playing Call of Duty MW2 on line. I can only take so many punky kids and racists babbling in my ear. Ugh. Playing with forum members is great, but the rest of it is just annoying. WJ
  23. They are in the mail to you even as I type. Oh, and I'm from the Government, I am here to help! WJ
  24. Okay, all I need is a little encouragement!!! If you say I need more, I'd better order some more. I have a recessive hoarding gene which needs to be liberated every now and then. lol Oh, I forgot to include drums in my tally, so I'm a bit higher than fifteen but still way shy of 30.
