  1. Got it.. mounted it.. does not co-witness properly with Primary Arms MD06.. only the Aimpoint H1/T1.. My loss bigtime.. paid $180 4 days ago. Selling for $155 shipped for the combo.. ** cross posted item.. 1st take it.. gets it.. I take PPal (discreet and GIFT) or USPS money order.. Ships USPS Priority Mail ASAP..
  2. Got mine in today via mail from PA and the RA MD06 from Aim.. LoL Got the RS Regulate AK301 rail clamp part and AKML Aimpoint mount top part. Popped the Primary Arms MD06 on and set it up.. The complete rail system with MD06 weighs in at about 6.x oz.. The locking lever is easy to adjust.. no tools needed to get snug.. and yet release is EASY.. I like the flush fit of the lever.. This is the system I have for my new Saiga 762x39 I just got 2 weeks back.. other side view.. It does seem to line up VERY well with the Saiga dustcover.. I had
  3. I sold 1 from back in April.. ATI GFX1911.. it had NO FEEDRAMPS machined into the barrel.. needless to say customer after about a box wasn't happy. I sent it back (they sent me a call tag) and they dremeled some in.. Then after review some more by customer WE decided a 17# Wilson recoil spring (factory is 13-14 lbs from reading online) kit was needed.. (customer bought kit).. Needless to say I now will only carry RIA models.. they have polished ramps machined in.. and finish is much better.
  4. 1 place only had 2 of the M92 pistols left.. and now they only have 1.. bawhahahaha

  5. Got my IZ-132 (folder no less) back in my hands after 5 years.. now I want a darn M92.. can't win.. this is BRD I am sure of it..

  6. Figure it this way.. a pistol tube added to a pistol.. still a pistol.. A folding pistol tube on a pistol. still a pistol.. The arm brace is nothing according to the BATF as it is NOT a stock.. ^^ someone explained that to me and it made sense ^^
  7. Few more muzzle end pics.. (had people asking).. With the 14mm crush washer (from CSS) this thing is UBER tight... Well worth the 1/2 hour total of cutting the 'sleeve' and threading with the 14Lx1 DIE/TAT set from CSS..

  10. November 2013 born on date.. just finished it today with threading and such. Used E German Folder from WAC, MagPul AK grip, Damage Industries Comp/Brake, G2, CSS trigger guard, vented gastube (all he had), and CSS lower retainer, rocking Polish wood (NOS), Russian 1000m rear sight with Cyrillic N.. (just waiting on the AMD65TECH cheek riser piece)..
  11. The DE1634 matches great IMO.. Heres a shot where I hit it with after cutting the 'sleeve' off my 762x39 Saiga for threading.. I only did the remaining 'sleeve' and front of the FSB.. matches great and its got ceramic in it.. so it should last..
  12. I got the Damage Ind Brake/Comp on today.. used a good pipe cutter and got on it.. Then with it off.. only got about 1/2" due to cutter width.. Then took my 14Lx1 DIE/TAT and got that done.. (was a PITA by myself holding between legs.. LoL) Got the comp/brake 'timed' by using 2 good flat blade screw drivers and a 14mm/9/16" crush washer I ordered from CSS with my part pkg last week.. Wasn't easy as I was just over 1/2 turn shy of index... but I got it.. ain't going no where.. And after hitting the area with the Engine Ceramic DE1634 (not the comp or the
  13. I got a factory 762x39 Saiga here at the shop and without mag it weighs in at: 6lbs 13oz.. My E German folder w/wood handguards without the magazine.. weighs in at: 7lbs 4oz.. Anyone got the weight of a Saiga 762x39 (16") with a Bulgarian Poly Stock and Bulgarian Handguard set?? like this>> Trying to see if it is lighter than the 7lbs 4oz (as noted above).. Also feel free to post a pic and the weight of your basic rifle setup..
  14. 10 Surplus AK mags for $7.99 from Natchez just came in.. and the new Saiga 762x39 got wood for handguards, E German Folder, and Russian 1000m rear leaf..

  17. Wow didn't know that.. learned something new.. thank you.. and... done.. removed the spring.. thanks csspecs..
  18. I installed the new wood on my Saiga yesterday and notice it was a PITA to get mounted with the little front spring on the wood lower handguard pushing things forward.. Should I have trimmed that metal piece off with a Dremel to use with the CSS lower retainer as not to have so much forward PUSH on it?? Sample of lower HG and spring I'm referring to.. CSS lower retainer.. Here is my closeup of mine.. feels sturdy... just not sure.. Should I leave it be till it possibly pushes the CSS retainer or clip it now and be done?? Anyone have issues with this
  19. All parts came in.. only 2 small issues.. the CSS gas tube needed fitting.. The lower HG retainer from CSS doesn't like the lower HG spring clip (should I remove the clip off the HG??), as it puts ALOT of forward pressure on the retainer.. Overall looks awesome IMO.. Like I said tiny gap in the front of the lower HG because of the spring clip... should I cut it out or leave it??
  20. Heres the NOS wood handguards from Apex with 1 coat of Formby's 'Tung Oil'... Heres the 'Conversion' process.. 1st remove the stock with the 3 screws.. Then remove the hammer by tying back hammer springs around the neck.. and remove the retainer wire.. You should have the funky factory trigger and rocker still in it.. Next drill out the pins that hold that.. 3/16" drill bit and go slow.. your just taking off the flares.. Dremel or chisel off the 1st rivet (most rearward).. I managed to get the metal to pop off around rivet #2.. Try not to sta
  21. Surplus Arms & Ammo have bricks of both. Got 10 bricks of the 22LR Armscor for $55/brick and 2 bricks of 22 mag for $150/brick.. not cheap but we needed it for shop to sell.
  22. This morning I did the mag catch with a small flat file.. Surplus clicks in and out and so does factory mag.. Tapco's are a little tight.. but I am not taking anymore off the catch.. I don't want a loosy goosy with surplus mags..
  23. First up this time.. the round trunnion bullet guide.. the only problem I had was the supplied CSS kit had a TAP that kept slipping inside my TAP handle.. luckily I had another 6-32 TAP from Lowes... (I broke the supplied tap due to slippage and twisting). I also noticed on the last 2 round trunnion kits I got from CSS the supplied button head allen screw kept hitting the bolt.. and had to be dremeled flat to clear and work properly.. Without dremel I would have to MORTAR the round OUT of the gun.. All fixed and locktighted in now though..
  24. So #1 went to my business partner.. conversion pics and final pic in 762x39 VEPR section (by accident).. Heres #2 starting up.. CSS trigger conversion kit.. MagPul AK Grip, Gas Tube, CSS Lower Retainer and more goodies in route.. Stay tuned for basic play-play pics of the chopping of the 'plate' and such...
