Looks really good.. how hard was the AK builder kit?? Do you still have to drill the holes in the receiver and bend and such??

I was thinking of using the ACE 8.5" with folder mech. and be done.. Still gotta collect funds just to get the 'pistol' first.

I have a G21 SF and honestly cant tell the difference between the SF and the regular. I happen to have gotten a good deal on it so I bought it. What I really want is the G30s Keep in mind the barrel on the 30S is not the standard G30 barrel size.. so if you want a threaded barrel down the line that may be an issue.. The regular G30 and G30SF are interchangeable for barrels..

For my 308 Saiga.. I did a post a long time back (like 2009) on threading it.. I did the 17 DIE and TAT from Dinzag.. and in an email asked him if he could take a 5/8-24 brake/comp I wanted and redo it to 17.. and he did.. he's got the shop to do it.. I then received my brake/comp back within a week that just went right on.. He also has accounts with a few places and can just order the brake you want and do it from their..

Well a customer saw the XD 45m and bought it from me.. So I went and got my Glock 30 (regular) for $460 (LE discount) and $20 shipping.. I then added Ameriglo (Trijicon) nightsights for $66 (cost).. Still happy as its a 45 and I got my G30 back (so to speak)

Did you know that 2 or more sami-auto rifles in 5 days over 22 cal with detachable magazine must be reported to the ATF.. Now you all know 5.45 is like 21.5xxx and does not fit into the specs... Why do you all think they are/may be trying to keep it out of the US?? I asked the IOI during my license interview and I said how bout an AK74.. he said yup to report it.. I said 'no..' his look was priceless.. he said why not.. I said its not 22 cal.. The form date is 2011.. guessing after Holder screwed the pooch..

Almost got a G30SF but they stopped making the nice 9 round flush mags.. I've had 3 Glock 30's and liked them.. with the 9 round for CCW'ing

So I am selling my Sig SP2022 (9mm) here at the shop.. So I picked up the Springfield XDm 45 Compact 3.8 Barrel Pistol with spare mag for $562 shipped. Comes with one 13 and one 9 and all the 'gear'.. but I figured an extra 9 round mag couldn't hurt. Its about 3/16" shorter on the slide and 3/8-7/16" shorter in height (when running the 9 round mag) Sig on bottom with the finger rest.. You pop in the 13 and your only a hair bigger in height than the SP2022 (Sig on top) 13+1 of 45 is nice.. and 9+1 for CCW should be fine..

Just got my FFL and the IOI covered this.. If the same person drops it off and picks it up 1 day or 100 (ex.).. no 4473 needed. If I keep the firearm for repair overnight I must log it into my A&D book.. If someone other than the drop off'ee picks it up.. then a 4473 will be needed..
