  1. mine wont lock up, looks like its quite a bot too long. doesnt come even close to locking up.
  2. doesnt look half bad.... better than 250 bucks... i wish it was more like 50 though....
  3. edit - Not really thwe real thing looks much better.. look at the difference in length... The phtotshop is a couple inches shorter and looks goofy.
  4. same I want to see the real thing... Im betting the 12 ga one looks different from the rifle one, which is the only pic we have
  5. wuld be awful wide.... id like to see them though for sure
  6. DPH (scott) had a couple of 12's on his table here for 600.
  7. promag? No thanks, Ive had bad expereince with them in the past... Just saw Scott at the charlotte show yesterday. Hes got a good stock of AGP's for a good price. I bought a couple... But more variety is good i suppose. I will stick with my AGPs and MD20.
  8. funny thing about ben is, when you meet him the stuff on the site doesnt really match his personality lol. But Ive been to plenty of shows here in NC, My best friend owns CMPArmory. There are guys that will Shaft you in a heartbeat to make a buck. Some of these gusy still Do shows and are still in business when they should be in the Federal Pen, for screwing over my friends.. Ben Is not one of them. Neither Is Scott. I can still remember buying my first AK from Ben years ago.
  9. Be easy on Ben. Ive known him for years and he doesnt "scam" people. hes been through alot of crap and had plent of people stab him in the back. Ive bought ALOT from Ben. Yes Im partial becasue hes abotu 10 minutes down the road. Then again he could have out these on the table at local shows and not deal with internet shipping, etc etc. Which would you rather he have done? Its not his fault.
  10. Actually what I meant was the website wasnt CMPA's main source of generating business, when the comment was made that there wasnt much on it. I wasnt trying to qualify substance by saying that. I gues people just misinterpreted what i said.
  11. Not sure I understand whats funny? CMP Armory is a 02/7 lisenced manufacturer with plenty of Semi builds and dealer samples for customers all over the US. Has done some very unique things like a 20mm vulcan conversion on a Lahti, .50 conversion on a Boyes, etc, and has done work for the local PD's and in the past. Send your saiga where you want, I honestly dont care. I was only trying to refer you to someone who does fine work and could have completed the job for you in a timely fashion. Good luck in your search.
  12. looks good, when they actually have some I will order, I think. gilberts the only vendor with these? I find that ahrd to believe
  13. Best to give james a call if you'd like him to work on your saiga. If you dont like the AR price, dont send them one. I doubt many others charge less for doing AR work. Belvie me he's not "hurting" for business. His FAL services are possibly the best dollar to quality value on the "mail order" smith market. Those FN's that tak the CRP matches are usually CMPA built FN's. CMP stays backed up and does mostly class III stuff, and yes they do saiga conversions and work all the time. Ive seen several in the shop lately. Most people have his cards, etc and see James at the creek, et
