  1. I have heard reports about wolves in northern utah coming down from idaho. I have also heard rumors about open season on them like yotes... I like wolves, but I also don't want them hanging out in my backyard... ETA: I ran into some wolves in yellow stone in the wild years ago, I will never forget the big black ones eyes... chills down my spine... I was just glad I was in a car...
  2. That sucks, I had type 1 flu (h1n1 mutated from it) over the summer, it blew, I had never had a flu like that before... For about three days I just turned on the tv and layed there with my eyes shut... Then I had a nasty caugh for about two weeks after that... I got a phone interview for a good job a few days after I was able to get out of bed, I was turned down because I did not sound interested... I still have noidea why I did not answer that with the fact I'm recovering from the flu... flu sucks!
  3. Mine does not fold all the way with the drum, and it's not a big deal at all... I really only fold it to transport... if I'm shooting the gun I have the stock locked open, and if I do need to shoot it folded in a match or something I have the 10rd mags... I am curious how the folding mech will work though.
  4. It's going to look great on my shotgun.
  5. Kinda looks like this, but not... http://www.mississippiautoarms.com/tromix-saiga-12-7-slot-monster-competition-brake-discontinued-p-317.html
  6. How much I spent on my S12... About $500 on the main gun $30 on the G2 double hook trigger kit $40 on tromix trigger gaurd... $20 on tapco pistol grip $15 on tapco stock $120 on MAA stock, internal adapter, and ace folder $120 on chaos rail = 845 I'm not even going to think about how much I spent on AGP mags and the MD20 drum....
  7. I like it, but cost will be a factor for me. And I love AR's I have been able to enjoy AR-15's due to me being able to build them piece by piece. S-12 was pretty affordable, then I slowly built it up.
  8. I love the wood he has for a 20in AR, alot! I had planned on adding a rail to mine, but this has me thinking about going with wood.
  9. & I did run out of ammo, but I was happy were it ended. As I was pulling up to the shooting spot I was kicking my self for not bringing my AR & a little tannerite, but it worked out.

  11. lol, that's the top of the gutar, and the backs of them are blown off, I was supprised how strong those things were. The switches and the pickup are 100% toast, it's hard to tell from the pictures but you can see the copper wiring in the center from the pickup being destroyed.
  12. I picked up a silver tone electric gutar from an estate sale for $5 a while back, I had planned on fixing it up but after finding out it was next to worthless and not worth fixing I decided it would end up as range fodder... So it sat in my garage for a few months, till yesterday, I was pretty stressed out and decided I needed to relax a little. So I headed over to cabelas and spent about $25 on some SB buck shot, a mix of 2 buck, 4 buck, and 00 buck, and some birdshot I had left over from my 3gun match... I started with the birdshot and it only gave the gutar freckles, so then I w
  13. First, this thread is funny! Thanks for the support guys. Gibbles, I'm not sure what your implying? Are you thinking I shill bid? I assure you I did not. For one I listed the stuff to sell, not babysit. And on top of that, I sold 5 kits with buy it nows. The price was $500 on the buy it nows. Only 2 sold for the buy it now, days before the auctions ended, both to the same guy, a member here and past customer. The 3 others went for I think $432 each or something like that. If your talking about the 20 kits I listed at a penny with no reserve... They had no buy it now price.
  14. You sure? I can compress my MD20 fully loaded, and it does load with a closed bolt, but my top round gets kinda fudged up and it won't load with out some help after... I mostly shoot low brass fed though.
  15. Gibbles do you know how to give it a heat treatment? I am worried about it wearing in after awhile I'm not worried about the strength of it. We use this thickness of alum for louver trays on the inside of our oil pans with out them breaking. Yeah, play around with a sheet, if I remember right it was easy and only required a propane torch. I think the metal cooled off so fast that all that was required was to give it some heat till it changed to a dark color... it's been a while sense I saw how to do it... If not you may need to dip it in water, to get a good heat treat, oil m
  16. I agree, at my last 3gun match I was rockin the MD20, and it ran flawless. I had a few guys expecting me to be clearing jams all day, finding out I was running better than they were with their FN's and benelli's. I ran acrost two S12's with the factory stock running the surefire mags, I know I helped sell a few of the MD20's. $260 was a bit high IMO, but due to the fact they were the only choice, you needed atleast one, the only reason I bought one was the half now, then the other half two months later deal for the pre order. @130 shipped, they are just a great deal, I real
  17. If I bought a bunch of drums as an investment I would put them on gunbroker for $200 buy it now in an attempt to get some of the money back hoping to sell it to people thinking they were $300 drums.
  18. People that bought a bunch of these gambled on the idea that they would be another AWB and these would skyrocket in value. They took a gamble and they lost, sucks, but I'm glad they are backing off on a new AWB atleast for now. I welcome the new lower prices, and I hope S12s drop in price too.
  19. Most of the aluminum sheets I have worked with are super soft and have to be heat treated to have any sort of strength.
  20. +1 Need double stack mags! I have to wait for a few weeks before I can order another drum, I need to pay for the rail I ordered at the first of the month first... and hopefully it will come soon, Chaos is waiting on the hardcoat.
  21. Hey, I did not know you were a member over here! and I paid the second run pre order price of about $230 for my drum, and I only have one. Yeah the value of my drum went down, but I pretty much mated it to my S12, so I just thought about it as part of the package. And I bought it after the election, I figured it would end up as preban, get one while I can sorta thing. I don't think I lost anything, I just made sure I got atleast one.
  22. Mine is, I just have a problem storing a full 10rd mag with the bolt closed, the round deforms and I can never load that round with out lots of force... Works great with open bolt though.
