  1. Until recently every order I have placed Brian has been spot on. However, the last order I placed included a bullet guide (BG only, not the kit) but I received the wrong one. I sent an email to Brian a few nights later and he replied the next morning saying to send it back and he will send the correct BG (which I expected to hear) with a few $ for shipping (which I did not expect to hear). I sent the incorrect BG out on a Wednesday and received the correct BG on that following Friday, so he shipped out the replacement to me before the return got to him! And not only that, he sent me not just the correct BG, but the BG kit! I can always use an extra drill bit and tap. Also included was the money for shipping, ear plugs, hole plugs, etc.

You can't go wrong with Dinzag Arms!

    Thanks again Brian!

  2. I am satisfied that the screws will break or the folding mechanism will bend before the trunnion fails.

    Macbeau sends...

Thank you. That's good to hear. There has been debate about that on various forums. I think your judgment would be pretty sound on this.

  3. I don't have an SP101 but I do have a 4" GP100 .357 and I love it. I plan on getting a 6" GP100 and maybe a 2.25" SP101. (I already have two S&W revolvers with 2" barrels)

If you've got that wheelgun fetish like many of us do, you can never have too many revolvers. Ever! :super:

    Oh yeah . . . And I recently started re/handloading . . . I wanted a S&W 460 REAL BAD before . . . It's almost killing me now!

It's just hard for me to "pull the trigger" because it would be purely for fun. But damn, what fun!

    . . . And I'm really eyein' a few suppressors right now.

I'm trying to decide on what kinda can I want for my G19.

I have a Gemtech Tundra on my G19. I got it about a year and a half ago during Gemtech's "Gemtax" special (when they paid for the $200 tax stamp) so I kinda just jumped on it, but I am quite happy with it. That being said I do wish it had been designed to be disassembled and cleaned by the user, not just the manufacturer. But it has a lifetime warranty of sorts, I got a good deal and it sounds good to me. But there are many other options . . .

. . . Back on topic, Shooter, if you want the gun and can afford it, I don't think you will be disappointed. One thing I do want to change on my GP100 is the front sight, it's solid black and can be hard to see in low light. I'm thinking of replacing it with a HIVIZ fiber optic sight.

  5. Thanks for the write up.

I have a Draco I need to SBR but I have a few other NFA items I am contemplating and I want to send it all off at once. That and I'm not too sure about the whole rear trunnion "issue" but that is something that could be dealt with later.

Have you tried a Vortex flash suppressor on a short barrel? I put one on my 7" 7.62x39 but I have only shot it once since then and that was in the middle of the day with no clouds or shade so I couldn't tell if it helped or not. When I get a good opportunity I'll take that and my Draco out with the Vortex and give a report.

  6. Another questions:

Can i use ACE stock with adapter with std russian folding mechanism?

Can i use Tromix stock with adapter with std russian folding mechanism?

Or i have to make middlepart by myself?

    Thx for posting or PM.

    ufo

You would have to make some sort of adapter for yourself.

    THX man.

    No problem.

The reason I started this thread was- I've used mine lightly for a few years, and I have always just pulled the thing open. The instructions didn't say how to open the gun, so I assumed it was how it was supposed to work. The other day I noticed what appeared to be quite a lot of wear on the hinge, and was worried I was screwing up the mechanism by pulling it open. I mean, it still works fine, but it looks like the metal is being worn down (I think- it's now silvered and appears to rounded off- I don't remember what it looked like before.

    Any more thoughts?

That sounds normal to me. All mine have gotten worn over time. As long as it still works I would call it normal wear from usage.

  7.

A friend of mine and I were debating just this last night! He said it might, I said it should.

I just picked up a 20SF and have some rounds loaded up for it ready to go, I'm just waiting to hear back from Lone Wolf, chamber mouth (I think that's what it is called) is too sharp and causing FTF's 90+% of the time. I've wanted a 10mm for years, the suspense is killing me!!!

  8. I didn't mean to start a shit storm of any sort. I just thought some of you might like to know that the development of the product seems, at least to me, to be going well. That is all I can do.

I do not work for/with Tac 47. I am not allowed to post a picture/video of the product (not that I even have one) nor say much more than I already have. That would be up to Keith and Cliff.

Greg: FYI, the plug I tested sent the 2-3/4" slug hulls just a little bit further that the Winchester bulk pack hulls. And, IIRC, when TX-Zen shot some 3" heavy turkey loads, those hulls went noticeably farther than the rest.

  9. While, like most, I agree tha BATFE should just take a running leap off a tall cliff, I also agree with "little steps are better than no steps."

That being said, your math in post #5 sounds much more reasonable than the way things are right now.

This is a misconception on peoples part, BATF does not put laws into place they enforce them, our Federal Legislators are the ones who need to take a few steps back......

I know. No misconception here. Anyone who would enforce such unconstitutional laws should have the same fate as those who made the laws. I'm not letting anyone off the hook here. They're all swine.

  11. seriousely is it really that hard to put up a youtube video i want to see how it works, run this thang threw the mill. tac47 you should put up a vidoe or have someone do it i really enjoy watching the md arms videos those are alot of fun

If a video was put up of it running you wouldn't be able to tell how it worked, just see that it did. To see how it works you would have to have a drawing of one, have one in hand, or have someone tell you how it works. Keith is still very hush-hush about them as he is not quite done testing them yet.

  12. (I originally posted this here, but, just in case you didn't see it)

I tried a prototype TAC 12 T.A.R.G.E.T. on one of my personal guns today (I just got back from shooting with Keith, TX-Zen and NinerRider) and was impressed.

I alternated Winchester bulk pack with Winchester slugs and my S-12 spit them all out with very positive ejection. The slug hulls seemed to go as far as they normally do and the Winchester bulk pack hulls seemed to be ejected further than normal.

And that's about all I can say about it for now . . . :nothing:

Hey man I read your original post but if you look closer at the first post this is a different plug. This is a auto regulating plug, no more adjusting gas settings.

I know. Both plugs are talked about in the OP so I put the review in both places. I tested the auto regulating plug.

  13. My god it was hot out there and I am really used to the heat. One big NO SHIT to that, I got pretty sunburned! Raoul Duke always has fun toys and the suppressed 5.45 was really cool. Thank you, but that was a 7.62. Not that it really matters, just FYI.

That was a great trip! Aside from the aforementioned heat, I can't complain.
