  1. Do you still have bddill78's contact info? My gunbroker account isn't working.. I dont have his contact info any longer but the below link will take you to his current auction on gunbroker. He has a 10 rounder and the high bid is $105. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=92681255
  2. "Problem Fixed" Send it my way. lol Is the mag latch not locking up to the mag. I had a 2.5" four rounder give me trouble like that until I filed a little off the latch catch. That's exactly what's happening. It just won't latch in. I was planning to hit it with a file but I am a little concerned that will make it unsafe. I will just file a little at a time and keep trying it till it catches regularly and see how it goes.
  3. As was stated in a previous post, the new type has adjustable settings on the gas tube so I wont get in to that. As far as the ammo goes, in the short time that I have had mine I have fired the metal sleeve and plastic shells and my 410 gobbles up everything I feed it. Since mine is new, I have the setting on the gas tube to 1, even when shooting 2 3/4 or 3" shells. I was told it is a good idea to leave it like that for the first hundred or so rounds to "break it in".The next time I go to the range I will try it on the #2 setting and see how it goes. I have read where others report having prob
  4. I picked up a 10 round mag on gunbroker.com from bddill78. The price was high ($150) but as hard as they are to come by I paid it. The problem I am having is that I have to fiddle around with it for 5 minutes to get it to lock into place. I took the gun to the range yesterday and was only able to get the 10 rounder to lock-in once and after screwing around with it for 10 minutes or so I finally gave up, tossed it in the bag and just used the 4 rounders (which don't have a problem at all). Has anyone else experienced these issues with the 10 rounders and if so, any ideas how I can fix it? T
  5. As I previously stated, I am relatively new to the wonderful world of the Saiga 410 (buying a 20 ga next). Anyway, the 410 is our home defense weapon and I presently have a 10 round magazine loaded with Golden Bear 2 3/4 #4 Buckshot. I have 2 chokes (#1 and #0.5) and also a thread protector. Which choke should I use with the Buckshot and how do you know which choke to use with what type of shot? I have slugs as well but know better than using a choke with slugs and I am told the buckshot is better than slugs for home protection. Any advice would be appreciated.
  6. Can you point me in the right direction where to get the 410 X 70 magazine? Will I damage my shotgun if I attempt to load the 2 3/4" slugs and fire them using the 410 X 76 magazine?
