I would second Alumahyde II. It's solvent resistant and designed for guns. I mix 1/3 of the black gloss and 2/3 flat black to match the Saiga paint.

If you can get out of the 45 gap, I would. Ammo is hard to find and pricey. Springfield recently dropped the 45gap from their XD line. That being said I just picked up a a XD 45 . It shoots like a dream and is now my primary handgun.

By adding the pistol grip the part need goes up to 5 US parts, the 74 Muzzle brake bumps the requirement to 6 US parts. I 've been trying to decide which sight to put on my s12. Want to full use the side rail mount so I've narrowed it down to either a Russian Kobra sight or a Bushnell Holosight with a side rail mount. I'm not jumping into combat soon , just looking for something for 3 gun matches. Both cost about the same, so what is everyones opinion?
